Interesting how there is so much more interest in this racket now. I seem to recall saying it was really nice a few months ago. Sadly I've not have the chance tovreview the racket since.

It is indeed a good racket. Easy to use and quite forgiving.
Some might think that the flex makes you lose the accuracy.
But, for a lower intermediate player like I am, it does not really matter.

As I've hypothesised, I reckon it's a higher modulus material than the older rackets. It's also possible that graphene or the resin that they're using also reduces some of the inherent brittleness of the stuff.

Explains the 'glassy' sound of the head, anyway.

hey, is the onigiri like bs12l just more head heavy or total different?

how about play speed is bs12l quicker or js10 than onigiri and will we get in europe also a g1 version?

thanks.

The Oni is a head heavy (think balance point 310mm) medium flex racket that carries its weight evenly throughout the head. Been a very long time since I used a BS12, but safe to say it's a completely different racket to the Oni.

If speed is what you're after, the from what I've read, the JS10 has no equal.

If you like the Bravesword shape, maybe try the BS10. It's heavier and stiffer than the 12. You'll also get an instant speed boost if you go 4U. I don't know if the Onigiri would be stiff enough for you coming off the ZF2, but certainly the Onigiri and TK6000 are maybe approaching similar head heaviness.

Maklike Tier: have you had more game time with the Onigiri to end your search on replacing 'Prototype 203'? :)

Mark A: how did the Onigiri go in your hand? Any thoughts on it?

I've shaved the handle down so it's very small. Head weight hasn't changed though of course as it doesn't change no matter what you do with the handle.

Incredible how many times the same issue is coming up. Is there a dedicated thread somewhere which explains this matter once and for all?
Would save a lot of time to just post a link to this thread instead of explaining the same stuff over and over again.

I need it to be stiffer, but other than that it's very good. Feel is particularly impressive for such a light racket, and it'll do 32/34 all day without complaining.

How's it faring against the YYS? They both seem similar spec I thought.

Not even close mate. YYS is much closer to the BS12 than any TK.

Yeh TK6000 is the only thing close to the Oni.
