TTY's coach looks young enough to be her boyfriend. What is his name?

Both are equal in games but Saina's Point Difference is worse than Marin.

I think Saina is OUT because Marin has won 3 games and lost 4 whereas Saina has now won 3 games but lost 5 games. The ranking is decided first on number of matches won; then if equal on difference of games won and games lost, and then on difference of points.

Exactly, after a one-match-win tiebreak, the next criterion is games won,if still a tie, then finally points difference; in the latter two scenarios, Marin is ahead of Saina.

    What a bad day!
Srikanth couldn't even win a single set in the tournament.
And Saina so close yet so far.

One thing is for certain - A crowd cheering for you is only an advantage if you are the underdog, otherwise it could be a burden.

this is why i never like these group matches, especially in BIG tournaments like Olympics.

apart from players trying to lose for their advantages like 2012 London OLY you can also have a champion that lost 1 or even 2 matches en route.

in the old day if you're the champion means that you're undefeated, PERIOD.

will it really make her stronger, though?
She has now lost her last 4 matches against Tai.
And in the last 3, she lost despite winning the first game.

Saina got to work on her movement and patience.
