Amazing! Can't believe Saina managed to win I had given up yesterday. Today I see a glimmer of hope. But it still depends on Nozomi beating Carolina. if Carolina wins tomorrow, Saina is as good as out. I am guessing yesterday's match loss was more due to lack of match practice than injury problems.
On another note, what has happened to Srikanth? he makes me sad. Has he lost self belief? If Momota wins today, Sri is out. Well, he is already as good as out. Sri makes me sad.
yes.....but even if saina didnt enter into semi, its also ok.....she have beaten all the players except Tai,LXR(narrow game win in MAS),WSX in 2015....but she can do it in future.....now saina can rest sometime and findout the key to beat everyone next year 2016......good luck and hope for the best....
It was a very good match. I wont say Carolina was at her best, but still a very creditable win for Saina, given her condition.
I really didn't expect for Saina to win after that 2nd game. I turned off the TV after that, and she really did surprise me. I hope Okuhara kicks Marin out of the tournament.
Well Saina was knocked out by Tai last year, and she has been losing to her lately - it's about time she gets the records straight.

yeah, Saina probably did save her energy yesterday. Plus Nozomi is the kind of opponent who is much harder to beat in first round, as opposed to in finals when she is on the verge of running out of steam because she has run too much in the earlier rounds.
I think losing to Marin is a lowest point for any player. Sometimes you feel like you want to punch her in the face.
whatever it is......i dont mind if saina loosing to nozomi again......but winning against CM imp because she is the one stopped saina from All england and WC......now i am happy.
