    I am surprised Chen Long went for smashes so early in the rallies. He usually doesn't do that -he likes to bore the pants off the audience.

    Yesterday Lin Dan lost to LCW on fitness. Today Chen Long simply lost to the better player.

    Next, let's see how they fare at the HK Open. Revenge for Chen Long ?

    Even a great player cannot afford to be complacent, let his guard down, and take things for granted. A defeat for Chen Long may actually do him more good than harm, he will emerge stronger. Just wait and see.

    It's even less likely for Chai Biao/Hong Wei to succeed in the MD, I think.

    That happened right in the middle of the Beijing Olympic qualification cycle.

    China must be the only country which employs Chinese umpires even though one side is China and the other is non-China.
