Guyz this a tourney thread and this is height of getting out of topic why don't stick to matches and current performances rather remembering players of eras when you weren't even born

2013 was worse. And if we exclude CHN, HK and SGP, so was 2014.

If I were to get, I won't get on KS winning a medal, as much as I would want an all India final. My money would be on LD obviously. Logically I don't give CL an popsicles chance in Sahara. It would be LD all the way.

LD is GOAT because his achievements far surpassed anybody else's in history, and I 'm in good company with PG and Lee Hyun Il and LCW, just to name three. More importantly, during LD's era, practically every aspect of badminton is of the highest order, in terms of skills, technique, fitness, training methodology, equipment technology, and the overall level and intensity of competition with so many world class players.

Therefore, attempting to make a comparison for anyone in RH's era with anyone in LD's era is really pushing it, unfair and unrealistic, as such meaningless simply because the problem lies with the distant past, not the present-day. Sorry, enough said for me, nothing personal.
