Xue Song has been unimpressive of late, indifferent form, not surprised by his withdrawal.

Back to Back Superseries and there is always doubt about the quality of the tournament since players will be suffering from Fatigue. So,what can be done to ensure the quality remains supreme,a good draw is the answer for all, give star players an easy draw and some good match scheduling can turn the events from FLOP to TOP.Let's see if that is the casewith French Open SS draw:

MS top half draw, Chen Long has tricky opening test against Tommy Sugiarto and 4th seed Kento Momota will take on Son Wan Ho at first round, also joining this half of draw are the unseeded Lee Chong Wei, 8th seed Parupalli Kashyap and 7th seed Viktor Axelsen. Lin Dan, Jan O Jorgensen, Chou Tien Chen and K.Srikanth are grouped at bottom half.

    KS vs THW
    PK vs AJ
    HSP vs Master Dan
Omg pathetic draw!!! Best possibility PK---->QF loosing to CL
SN vs MM R2 should pull it off this time... PVS vs WSX R1 tough... Best possibility SN----> SF loosing to WSX/WYH
(But Indo-Jpn friendship can help SN as NO and AY can threat the Wang's in early stages seriously maybe even upsetting them) I hope it happens :p

MS draw for KS is again going to be very difficult. KS is pitted against Tian Houwei. But one thing i am sure that he has adapting to the style of TH. Every time he has scored more points than before. Let's hope he will beat Tian and get his confidence back.

H.S.Prannoy vs Lindan. Very difficult for Prannoy.

If Ajay crosses the qualifying draw, he will be meeting his compatriot Kashyap. This is called the luck of the draw. We hope Ajay prevails if he is slated to meet PK. Because we know what PK will do in 'later stages'.

Sindhu vs WSX. Interesting. Whenever WSX played sindhu, she struggled a lot. Going to be a mouthwatering encounter.

Hope AJ beats PK so that our number two in Olympics (HSP, AJ or anyone else) can be a real medal prospect and not some one who will lose the bronze bout from 21-0, 20-0 up.

I don't know why you are always complaining about the draw. Life is only good with smooth draw? Why don't you organize your all tournaments, and invite all the elite players, then just hand-pick their spot and create your own draw? In that case, it always be sure your favorite players will play the finals in all of your tournament. Will it be interesting?

The back-to-back tournaments is not new issue, we all know that. Especially we have some major events this year and Olympics next year. This is a push for players, and they should learn how to handle that, not just to blame the officials and organizers.

Frankly, the luck of the draw cannot be underestimated, even more so in team championships. It happens sometimes that certain players are unfavourably drawn to meet the same difficult opponent in the early rounds time and again for several tournaments in a row. Occasionally, we've seen players all from the same nation/MA bunched up together. A draw that is too unbalanced or skewed is no good for everyone, the players and spectators alike.

There's a reason why BWF officials intervene in the drawing process as revealed in one of the posts earlier, mainly to have the crowd-puller matches slated for later rounds to maximize spectator turnout and viewership, heightening the interest and excitement of the tournament as it hopefully builds up to a crescendo with a view to promoting the sport and optimizing the success of the event. I believe that 's what the BWF, the host and organizer as well as the sponsors will want to aim for.

Agree!! And she also did the same with RI making them run for the money and then pushing them out of the door..
But then she lost to ST didn't she who is a lesser version of her future opp WSX...
She also lost to SJH who of course is in tremendous form but still I believe doesn't stand a chance against WSX!!
Moreover PVS has forgotten her killer down the line smashes imho also the killer instinct which she possessed against every Chinese ladies even then seemed invincibile LXR!!
But now she got many stairs down and WSX's graph has improved intact she has started smashing the birdie which again is a warning bell

    Chill mate..
I think you got him wrong... By reading the post once more I am sure he just put the words to make it more appealing before he put up the link of the draw!! He had no intensions to blame the officials at least not this time (maybe in past) and yes back to back tourneys are more interesting because out of fatigue the scripted party of seeded stars are often devasted by stunning surprises from the comparatively unknown players..
