The way they organized boxing and badminton it was surely aweful... We are familiar with cheatings and I'll activities in boxing but incheon Ag was the first venue for me atleast witnessing them in badminton

The point is what we have learnt from this incidence. ZN is not the only talented player who can play two disciplines in badminton which is a well known international sport. Some thing need to put in placed to avoid this happens again. We have to protect our players as much as possible wherever they comes from. I personally think an incidence report should be submitted to BWF to look into it further.

It is question about motives, right ??

what do you think people will suspect CO-08 organizer motives to put the match between lyd/ljh vs xc/zyl as the last match in the final.

wasn't it custom to put xd first and md later ?? (as your friend pcl99 suggest)

Of course, what's done cannot be undone. But, more importantly, what's wrong must be corrected and remedial action taken to prevent future occurrence for the good of all. And the fact that some people actually used the occasion to attack China and Zhang Nan himself without even getting the facts right naturally invites a measured response (or retaliation if gone too far).

Peace is good but can there be true peace without justice ?

I'm afraid we are not talking about the same issue (chicken and duck talk ?). As for motives, we have to question what they are and why, and the rights and wrongs of them.

Anyway, you're missing the whole point of the argument in the first place, and your last question is irrelevant, never mind what my friend pcll99 suggested.

During the Asian games 2014 there is even a video clip to explain about the strange wind blow. The video clip is taken during Kenichi tago match. The shuttlecock actually got blown back and didn't even pass through the net. Here is the link to that's clip.

I guess many people are talking about the strange wind blow at the court used for this tournament too.

Yes the strange wind at the court has also been one of the main issues complained during this tournament. It seems that whenever s badminton tournament is held in Korea the issue of strange wind blow at the court will always be there. But then hope everyone will be cool about it and chill, relax. We only have one more day to go and tomorrow everything will end then goodbye to Korea.

Precisely, that's what BWF is for, it'll be dereliction of duty on their part if nothing is done about it.

For the wind, it happens in many halls. It does in Indonesia, it did in the WC in Guangzhou (that was controversial, wasn't?) ; the point is, some of the arguments here are getting too close to the plot-theory syndrome, a kind of paranoia, where all that happens is interpreted as the result of some evil will. And now it becomes an "against China" thing, really out of proportion

    The video is unavailable.

I take this opportunity to praise your upright character, your willingness and courage to face the truth and to expose, admit and condemn what is wrong even when they are your fellow country people - is admirable, laudable. I salute you.

Sometimes we have to take firm stand rather than searching for peace...This was well calculated and intentional attempt to turn tide in their favours....Some people are saying 2nd and 5th are good enough....well,would have been 'acceptable' if it was on the same court..

if it wasn't for the London Olympics Women's Doubles scandal, the 2nd game of the Korean WD derby match today would have been 21 to 1.

wow. xd was played after md and china still lost to lee yong dae.

lee played 2nd in md and 5th in xd.

xd should be played 1st and md should be played 5th.

only 30 mins break for a super series semifinal was AWFUL for a player playing 2 category, that's not very nice move by organizer and title sponsor Victor therefore I decided to stop using their shuttles as an objection of how they "bullied" Zhang Nan to play between only 30 mins interval, they've already bullied Yonex on BC before so pretty much fed up and done with Victor, it's a shame! Why can't you guys do things fair and square?

With all the goodwill and just treatment, still they could put both Zhang Nan's matches on COURT 2... second class treatment, just make sure it's the 1st (or at least the 2nd match) and the last match in the Court 2. It would ensure sufficient time interval between his two matches.

Furthermore, Zhang Nan was the ONLY player playing in two disciplines in this SF, there's no other conflicting schedule with any other player.

WHY is it so difficult for you to grasp that the host just did the DIRTY TRICK to win their junior MD???:eek:

I am totally perplexed how could anyone here call the 30-minute interval between Zhang Nan's two matches as just / decent / appropriate??? Only a sinister personality would do so!

It happened all because they plotted Zhang Nan's two matches using the DIFFERENT courts!!!

(i could care less whether they played the two matches on TV COURT or COURT 2; just make sure the same court thus the decent, fair time interval!!)

Both of you could make the silly comparison here... mind you there were still TWO MATCHES in between the match #2 and #5... but perhaps it's too much to grasp for the small brains!

if they put zhang in 2nd and 5th match on the same court, and the 3rd and 4th match are easy straight set, he only has 1 hour interval. not much different.

that's the risk playing in 2 discipline. accept it. the schedule is not always kind to you. what happened in the qualifying? they don't have rest at all. we don't cry like you do.

    small brain? hahaha

lee yong dae was treated the same way as zhang nan.

i know you will not complain if the matches on tv court are straight set, and the matches on court 2 are rubber set

so zhang has more time to rest
