Because it's so bright, you can barely see the shuttle. :(
Lowering the light level makes almost every arena look elegant and professional ;)

First time ever I guess 4 Korea players will play in Super Series Finals and only 3 China players will play in Super Series Finals.

So the next match awaiting. Chou Tien Chen vs Ajay Jayaram. Who will win? Very difficult to predict. Chou Tien Chen has a slight advantage in terms of skills, experience and ranking.

No Lee Yong Dae also plays in XD. His partner for XD now is Lee So Hee.

Still training is different from competition, not the same intensity, mental pressure; in training you can let certain shots go. What's more, when you have to play two matches every day while your opponent only one, the disadvantage is not that insignificant, esp when you only have 30 minutes' rest in-between.

For sport at the highest level where little separates the top contestants, a bit here and there counts for something, may tilt the balance in favour of one side, hence fair play is important. However, when the advantage is not of your own making but due to unforeseen circumstances or unplanned developments, such as opponent retiring/withdrawing on acceptable, legitimate or justifiable grounds, injury, sickness, etc - that's a different story, no issue.

Ajay is in fine form here, his maturity and experience, perhaps coupled with better preparation and good timing, enables him to cause some notable upsets and go deep. I think he has a fair chance of beating CTC, 50-50.

Ajay was late to CTC's trick net shot and still got it back properly, not bad.

    AS A MATTER OF RECORD

Victor KOREA Open Superseries 2015 : SEMIFINALS (19th September 2015)

    UNUSUAL Match Scheduling!

Victor KOREA Open Superseries 2015 - SEMIFINALS 2015-09-19.jpg

Remarks: Between the match of XD: Zhang Nan/Zhao Yunlei vs Ko Sung Hyun/Kim Ha Na (TV COURT with Hawk-Eye - Match #2) and the next match of Zhang Nan/Fu Haifeng vs Kim Gi Jung/Kim Sa Rang (COURT 2 without Hawk-Eye - Match #5), there was an interval of approximately 30 to max. 40 minutes. This MD match was started when the match #3 on TV COURT (Sung Ji Hyun vs Akane Yamaguchi) was not even over!

Kim Gi Jung/Kim Sa Rang eventually won over Fu Haifeng/Zhang Nan: 12-21, 21-18, 21-17

A match of clearly exhausted Zhang Nan due to the normative interval between his two matches.

It's a Chinese brand, RO Chinese... No harm in saying that either... Both Taiwan and Chinese Taipei are exonyms. Natives call their country ROC and believe they are the true Chinese

Chou got a lot of points back by changing his game to being more attacking.
