It makes LCW's explanation plausible, as he said he was feeling too tired.

ZZ giving away easy points by sending the shuttle out.

Updates about the condition at the court

The court condition is said to be rather windy and the shuttlecock here is slow. So for those players who are not used to the windy condition it may be difficult for them to play as shuttlecock can be blown away. In this kind of condition, drop shot may be a better option than smashes to avoid the shuttlecock being blown out of the court. The slow shuttlecock also didn't help in matters as it is very difficult for the players to time whether the shuttlecock will be in or out by the time the shuttlecock landed on the court. Whatever it is, I am expecting lots of big upsets to be created in this tournament as well.

For those who are interested to meet up with the players they may do so after the matches are being played of once the matches is over. Photography session with the players are also allowed at the stadium provided that the players are free to do so. Korean players on the other hand are more than willing to do so. For those who wants to take photos with the Korean players or get their signature they may do so after the match is over.

Out of the 8 XD from Korea who participated in this tournament, 3 pairs have advanced to the second round. All thanks to 2 Korean XD who players against each other in the first round. as usual the outstanding pair is still Ko Sung Hyun/ Kim Ha Na who won their match yesterday. The other 2 XD who won today are not expected to win tomorrow.

Thai sensation and crowd favourite Ratchanok Intanon struggling against India's P.V Sindhu as Sindhu drew first blood taking the first set 21-19 in what can be called a great match so far.

Sindhu shows her mental weakness as she blew away 4 match points only to lose the second set 23-21....It's become a habit of Indian players to give opposition gift after gift with ace shuttler Kashyap Parupalli leading the line in this Department...However,the Punishment will be too much to handle i guess...

BUT SHE DOESN'T :) P.V Sindhu prevails in tough encounter with former World Champion Ratchanok Intanon... Thai's dismal run of form continues and after a embarassing 21-3 lost in Japan Open...she faces equally poor 1st Round exit here...looks like her stamina weakness has been exploited to full..and players are more than willing to take the matters to the Decider against her...Scoreline reads 21-19,21-23,21-13 in the favour of the Indian

Former world champion Intanon ran out of steam in deciding game, 13-21. Another early exit for Thai #1 after Japan Open last week.
