Lin Dan's victory comment : "This year's YOJ victory being my first SS title for the season, it's a huge victory for YY as well. Right now I'm playing with a lot of love and compassion for the game. I would want to win all the remaining tournaments (more than thinking of points race for Rio '16).

Interesting. When LD was on the podium, he was not wearing Yonex's shirt. But when he took photo with Taufik, he switched to Yonex.

That's why he is so grateful to Li-Ning and LYB/CBA for allowing him to do so with the Yonex sponsorship. When competing and training, he has to don national colours sponsored by Li-Ning but use racquet, shoes, socks and kitbag from Yonex, while outside (off the badminton court and away from the tournament arena) in his private capacity he can wear Yonex apparel.

Compassion? I'm sure it won't make his vanquished opponents feel any better, cold comfort. Passion for the sport is what drives him and to "want to win all the remaining tournaments (towards Rio'16)." Yonex and, of course, CBA and Li Yongbo will be mighty pleased to hear that, not forgetting all his fans and supporters, including myself.

The original Japanese message suggests nothing about compassion. It just said 'I'm play with deep love towards badminton'

it's "passion" you grammar nazis ^^ sorry for mistype, and it's not (towards Rio2016) but more (rather than the race points for Rio) he want to focus on winning the rest of tournament

Just to edit a little bit
'I'd rather focus on winning the rest tournaments of this season than think about OG point race'
I can imagine there must be someone asking about his plan for Rio and he just gave this journalist a typical LD style answer

From a player source, training on the practice courts at a tournament, he was wearing Yonex gear. This was shortly after he signed his contract with Yonex.

because it is photo-op with another Yonex ambassador, Taufik Hidayat. If he is with LCW he will be wearing Yonex shirt too.
