No but he gave his all and That's what matters. Before today,he hadn't even won a set against Lin Dan..so you can tell it's a great improvement.

LCW will win, assuming their form from the WC last month didn't change drastically. :)

7 consecutive points from MZ were not enough - 18 - 21 at the end of G3.

A commendable performance by Yui, giving Marin a scare.

I guess this is the the longest duration for Lin Dan to overcome his opponent, 94 mins. Lee CW v Lin D is on the way...:)

And top-seed Marin finally took revenge over Hashimoto in close contest, 27-29 / 21-15 / 21-18.

Yes, tomorrow will be LCW's best chance to beat Lin Dan, too bad it's not a major final. Really hope the organizer will have the sense to put it on TV court.

Wow unbelievable. Lee Dong Keun finally won in the first round of the tournaments and what a surprise too. This player is also very famous for his first round exit in tournaments. Wow he won 23-21, 21-10. So much of hype over the youngster Jeon Hyeok Jin but he didn't even pass the qualifying round. Then comes the great win of Lee Dong Keun today. But I forsee that it will be very difficult for Lee Dong Keun to win again tomorrow.

So sad to see Prannoy lose in the second set. Looks like Vincent Wong Wing Ki is all charged up to create an upset today.

    Great stuff Prannoy..
Its very rare that any Indian finishes the match in straight sets even after trailing for most of the time.. Superb mental abilities showcased by him
