it's a tight match 21-17 13-21 21-19, but i really feel that hyeok jin will make it big in the future along with anthony, lin guipi, and shi yuqi.

You may be right. Korea is very desperate now as they are still not able to find the replacement for Lee Hyun Il. Thus Lee Hyun Il is still playing. My friend said that the match is a tough fight match but then Anthony Ginting played much better and controlled the whole match throughout the game.

It is not an upset. Vita/Andrei is Djarum club pair not PBSI's.

Yes it will be tough for them. Goh Liu Ying needs to be 100% healed first. They played well and in most of the matches both won over highly ranked player. I still remembered how this pair won over top ranked world no 3, 4, 5 and 6 XD before although it is not in the SS tournemant.

Now that is a surprise and upset when CHN WS can't advance. So no CHN in WS this time.... go Fitriani...

unrelieable ? he has beaten wong wing ki, son wan ho, song xue, winni'sng osaka challenge this year.

it's like saying,"jeon cant even win against weak player like anthony ginting"

anthony is not an easy meat, this year he has beaten hayom, tian houwei, k srikanth. losing tightly against lin dan (duece) and rubber game with momota kento.

HUANG Kaixiang / WANG Sijie China won Korea CHUNG Eui Seok / Dukyoung KIM 23-21 16-21 23-21 1:00

And this match certainly mark the end of the Korean domination in doubles event. Another Korean WD also lost to a lowly ranked Chinese Taipei WD.

Fajar ALFIAN / Muhammad Rian ARDIANTO (8) Indonesia vs Indonesia Andrei ADISTIA / Hendra Aprida GUNAWAN (2) match now. 17-21, 21-17, 5-10. I can guess the winner by now.

Yeahhh... before the injury and free fall drop of ranking. If they can't pass the big 4 top XD... never dream of winning SS.

Before their injury both are ranked as high as no 3. Goh Liu Ying choose not to go for surgery although her left and right knees are painful. Both played on and maintained the ranking for so long. Then finally the pain is too unbearable for her so Goh Liu Ying is forced to go for surgery. No worries both will try their best in every tournament to win. Goh Liu Ying is not 100% healed yet but choose to play on. In the past before the break due to surgery both have won over ranked no 1 and 2 XD countless of times.

A summary of today match Quarterfinals.

    1. MS
A variety of players from Indonesia (2), Malaysia and Korea won and advanced to play in the semifinals. It also marks that China no longer dominates in the MS events just like last time. It also shows that Korea still has to depend on this old veteran player Lee Hyun Il to win in MS tournament. Too bad.

    2. WS
A variety of players from Japan, Chinese Taipei, Thailand and Indonesia won. It also marks that China no longer dominate in the WS which is their pet event. Too bad. China WS continue to be in the slump and till now there is no suitable youngster to replace the under performing seniors. Then again, perhaps Xie Xingfang should come out of retirement and help China. Then as usual no good WS players in Korea till now. All the Korea WS in this tournament are the most embarrassing one losing in the first round of the tournament.

    3. MD
Players from China and Indonesia only won today. That marks the end of the Korea dominance in MD events. Korea MD has been on a slump and till now there is still no suitable replacement for the senior players. Senior and veteran players from Korea are send for this tournament but all lost already. Surprisingly China MD is on the rise now and also Indonesia continue their dominance and good showing in MD.

    4. WD
A variety of players from Indonesia (2), Chinese Taipei and Thailand. That marks the end of China dominance in WD events. In the past when we talk about WD it is always 4 China WD in semifinals regardless of which tournament. But as now this is no longer the case. Korean WD also has been on decline and Korea no longer can dominate the WD event. Senior and veteran players send for this tournament also cannot win too bad.

    5. XD
A variety of player from China, Malaysia, Korea and Thailand. This also proved that China no longer dominate in the XD event unlike in the past. Only one Korea XD pass through the first round of the tournament and advanced to the semifinals. That also thanks to the easy opponent that they played with before reaching the semifinals. If they played with higher ranked opponents I doubted they would have passed through to the semifinals. That also shows that Korea also can no longer dominate the XD event.
