Amongst talks of Incorrect translations in the post match interviews,a new controversy has been created regarding an older version of national anthem played at the time of medal ceremony for WS.
While I have no love lost for either Communism or the PRC, trust me when I say nationalism has nothing to do with communism. The Spanish manager should have shown up. In fact in its essence, communism is an "anti-nationalism" ideology. Its initial political contours was design by Engels, who worked upon Marx's socialist ideas to envision a stateless, classless society.... All good on paper. Never gonna work with Stalin/Mao's "in a country model".... Spain's manager made a major goof up and and needs to admit it.....
It's just too kind to label such asinine commenter as a comedian... China even has nothing to do to come in the middle of this matter only a brainwashed or a Sinophobia would write as such... and in this badminton forum! One may like or dislike, with or lack of any "love" to anything, but just be civilized and keep all the improprieties confined within one's own private domain! P.S. Too bad, my earlier post in response to this, which contains a youtube link on "Eric X. Li - A tale of two political systems" video is regarded as too much and being removed.
It is more ridiculous that they are playing national anthems... this is individual tournament, so the organizer shouldn't care about the nationality. I think that it is even possible so start in doubles with two people of different nationality.
There are few officers from Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) as stated in BWF Apology Press release, refuse to admit this incident as part of their mistake, because unlike SS event, WBC is an event organised by BWF, PBSI was there only to help BWF.
Very very true. As do the Africans and South Americans. Basically every country that had to fight for its freedom
