The bolded sentence is not true. In the recent 2013 world championship korean pair Eom Hye-won, Jang Ye-na got silver, korea has another silver at 1999 championships and even a gold at 1995 championships.incidentally in which there is no chinese doubles pair in finals, it was Korea vs Indonesia.

You seem to have forgotten korea's legendary shuttler Bang Soo-hyun's fantastic match against Indonesia's legendary shuttler Susi Susanti at 1993 world championships.
Bang Soo-Hyun won olympic silver at 20 years of age and gold at 24 years of age. Extraordinary, isnt it!!!

This must be the most celebrated non-competitive badminton player in the international circuit.

    What a RETURN !!!

Two super matches in singles, Chen v Lee and Marin v Nehwal

Final curtain of 2015 World Championships is arriving, 7 days tournament will be culminated today and who will win the gold medal? China has representatives in almost all 5 finals except women's singles. Ahsan/Setiawan will be the last hope for host INA to snatch this prestigious title once again.

XD, Zhang Nan/Zhao Yunlei (CHN) v Liu Cheng/Bao Yixin (CHN)
Head to head stats : 5-0
No one can stop the powerful Zhang/Zhao to defend their crown, this pair has perfect combination, technical skill, mental strength and stamina. Liu/Bao stunned their senior teammates Xu/Ma yesterday, well done by the Chinese youngster but to overcome the world #1 is a giant task to do it. Zhao Yunlei is so fast and sharp to block the shuttlecock at the net, this stuff is still lack from Bao Yixin.

WS, Carolina Marin (ESP) v Saina Nehwal (IND)
    H-2-H : 1-3
The top seed Spaniard won their last meeting, All England final this year. Close encounter on the script, Marin has tremendous improvement with her attacking style, good court coverage, her transformation really shock badminton world. Nehwal who has better experience certainly will be motivated to be first Indian player to win World title. The crowd support will be separated today as both Marin and Nehwal have many fans here in Istora Senayan. Based on latest performance and consistency, Marin has slight advantage to extent her world title.

MS, Chen Long (CHN) v Lee Chong Wei (MAS)
    H-2-H : 11-9
A repeat of last year Copenhagen WC when Lee CW succumbed in straight sets. This time may be his last attempt to taste the elusive major title for this Malaysian hero. As usual, we'll witness exciting showdown here, both Chen and Lee looked sharp to overcome their opponents Momota and Jorgensen respectively in last four yesterday. The underdog Lee CW due to his low world rank is still big threat for Chen Long. This is fourth world championships final for Lee CW after London 2011, Guangzhou 2013 and Copenhagen 2014, will Lee CW end his heartbreak here in Jakarta?

WD, Tian Qing/Zhao Yunlei (CHN) v Christinna Pedersen/Kamilla Rytter Juhl (DEN)
    H-2-H : 6-4
On paper the Chinese pair is favour to defend their world title but the Danish duo always trouble Tian/Zhao in most tournaments, judging by their stats this tie would be tight and Pedersen/Juhl will against the odds to win first ever major event in their badminton career. The Olympic Champion is still compact each other despite they only paired together in All England this year.

MD, Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan (INA) v Liu Xiaolong/Qiu Zihan (CHN)
    H-2-H : 2-2
Last final match will be thrilling and INA hero Ahsan/Setiawan are expected to win but they must be wary to the underdog Liu/Qiu who perform excellent during this tournament particularly when they turned the table against Endo/Hayakawa last night. Ahsan/Setiawan played confidently against Lee YD/Yoo YS, the Koreans seeemed little bit sluggish and had no answer to counter attack the Indonesian. Home fans desperately hope that Ahsan/Setiawan will deliver this title as birthday gift for INA 70th anniversary of independence day tomorrow.

Since this WC is held in Indonesia, I will vote for SN, LCW and Setiawan/Ahsan to win, otherwise I will say CL, CM and L/Q to win.

Haha me too... Especially when Abhinav won gold!!
I was numb when Sushil was def in the finals (as he comes from my state it was a death silence in my home for few mins) when Heena sidhu won the WC and became the WR1 and Sania/Cara won SIN finals
But then SN is our all time fav!! She is so very close to my entire family's heart

Haryana of course have a go for sports attitude but then i ll disagree a bit.. Hooda has done fantastic at least in sports and agriculture sector nodoubt he did nothing else ;)
I go my native place once a year and I know how the sports temperament is given it all in haryana.. Its not even 10% of it here in gujarat
