    She has been ousted by TPE Ting Yu Liang at first round, we can hope she could shine in GD discipline since she's top-seeded pair here, toughest rival should be CHN Chen QC/Jia YF.

    4th seed Ruselli Hartawan was sent packing by SEA Games bronze medalist MAS Goh Jin Wei yesterday, INA hopeful Gregoria Mariska who got bye will up against THA GS in R/32.

    DAY-3 Order of Play (09.00am local time, 6 courts) => https://www.tournamentsoftware.com/...D1278D-F017-4315-BEC8-5D0DD78EA32B&d=20150703

    All faves in BS and GS still continue their journey here, Firman Abdul Kholik, reigning WJC Lin Guipu, Cheam June Wei, He Bingjiao, Saena Kawakami, Gregoria Mariska are expected to pass R/16. Interesting tie that potentially may be close contest : Kholik v Sun FX, Kawakami v Chen XX, Cheam JW v Nirwanda.

    INA last hopeful in GS discipline, Gregoria Mariska is stunned by Japanese Moe Araki, 14-21 / 21-19 / 10-21.
    Top two contenders, He BJ and Kawakami sail to last eight with straight-sets victory against their respective opponents.

    Mixed fortune for INA juniors so far, Vega Vio Nirwanda cruised into QF after dumped BS second seed Cheam June Wei in rubber games, contratry outcome with GD discipline where INA top two seeds crashed out at R/16.

    Any live stream for this tournament? This is a very quiet tournament with no coverage outside the host country... quite pitiful, poor Asian Junior :eek:

    Matches in the SEMIFINALS

    From four GS, Japan is downed to one only, now they are on equal footing, each has one representative in the SF:

    He Bing Jiao [1](CHN) vs Goh Jin Wei (MAS)
    Pornpawee Chochuwong [8](THA) vs Moe Araki (JPN)

    For other disciplines:

    BS U19
    Yuta Watanabe (JPN) vs Lin Gui Pu [6](CHN)
    Seo Seung Jae [4](KOR) vs Lu Chia Hung [7](TPE)

    BD U19
    Ren Xiangyu/Tan Qiang (CHN) vs Han Chengkai/Zhou Haodong (CHN)
    Lee Hong Sub/Lim Su Min [4](KOR) vs He Jiting/Zheng Si Wei [2](CHN)

    GD U19
    Nami Matsuyama/Chiharu Shida (JPN) vs Chen Qingchen/Jia Yi Fan [3](CHN)
    Kim Hye Jeong/Park Keun Hye [5](KOR) vs Du Yue/Li Yin Hui (CHN)

    XD U19
    Zheng Si Wei/Chen Qingchen [1] vs Fachriza Abimanyu/Apriani Rahayu [7](INA)
    He Jiting/Du Yue [8](CHN) vs Choi Jong Woo/Kim Hye Jeong [2](KOR)

    Thus CHN has 9, KOR 4, JPN 3, and INA-MAS-THA-TPE each has 1 rep in the SF.

    Based on the statistics above, it would seem that China will continue to be the leading badminton powerhouse for some time to come.

    With ten events for the semifinals, China is represented in almost all of them, except for one BS and one GS.

    Coming in second is Korea in 4 events, followed by Japan (3), and one each for Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and Taiwan.

    Unfortunately, India is not represented.

    Let's hope by tomorrow's end, we don't see RED throughout for the finals.

    (It will be fantastic if unseeded Jin Wei can cause a sensational upset over Bing Jiao #1)

    not really, uncle loh, china won 11/20 since 2010,but less than 5(single/double) of them make it in senior stage.
    if wjc, china won 7/20 since 2010,too only less than half make it in senior stage

    Nice to hear from you after so loooong!

    It is true that not all junior champions will make it big in the senior circuit. What China has is quality in big numbers and this is a good start.

    SEMIFINALS (03.00pm local time, 2 courts) => http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/s...D1278D-F017-4315-BEC8-5D0DD78EA32B&d=20150704

    China shuttlers dominate final four to secure 9 slots in all five categories. So many upsets happened at QF, the most striking defeat is recent NZL Open GP Gold winner Saena Kawakami who stunned by local hope Chochuwong Pornpawee also BS top-seed, runner-up of last year INA Masters GP Gold Firman Abdul Kholik succumbed to Japanese player Yuta Watanabe.

    It's healthy draw in singles category where four juniors represent four different nations, an intriguing tie between China future star He Bingjiao v Malaysian promising talent Goh Jin Wei who performed superbly at SEA Games last month. The other semifinal tie will pit Pornpawee against last Japanese GS standing, Moe Araki. BS frontrunner, Lin Guipu will up against giant killer Yuta Watanabe while at bottom half of draw TPE talent Lu Chia Hung has Korean opponent, Seo Seung Jae to hunt final spot.

    INA last hopeful in this individual event, Fachriza Abimanyu/Apriani has an uphill task to eliminate clear favourite CHN XD, Zheng Siwei/Chen Qingchen. In BD, one final ticket has been guaranteed by CHN pair and possibly may create all CHN final tomorrow if He JT/Zheng SW could overcome KOR Lee HS/Lim SM.
