Don't speculate the reason will be fresh and never heard before. It will trump all of us as it did all the time previously .

No. I have no intention to drag anybody down. I just wondered and asked that query. I actually did not read his post properly. If anything wrong in my query, i apologise to @Devendra .

It is more convincing if it is not an excuse that has been used previously...;)

Maybe he's waiting for Lee Chong Wei to be back? Sometimes I get the feeling that he isn't playing seriously unless Lee Chong Wei is playing as well.

Perhaps making LCW believe that he is no longer good and boom LD back in full form. LCW feeling trumped.

So you are saying that super series trophies are for losers? Does not mean anything? Come on a trophy is a trophy.
Look at this, super series/premiere series/world championship etc. they most likely have the same top players participating and they all play to win. Imagine if you win 80% of the tournaments and someone else only win 20% of the tournament but those tournaments are viewed as "big", "prestige".
So how do you measure who is the better player??

Do you count number of wins? or the status of a tournament? or head-to-head count against players?

I would think that the player that is the most consistent winner should be considered the better player overall.

Like when he lost to Sony Dwi in two straight games just before the '12 Olympics.

Major events are just passing coincidence if you winning almost every tournament against all the top players. But sadly it doesn't not count. That's how life is.

It is OK. I must say, I'm a huge LD fan, and have no reasons to hide it. Yet, on occasions he disappoints me.

after watching sudirman cup,i thought LD is motivated enough and power smashes out of nowhere will return to his game but no,it's still slow, flat, lazy, boring, yawn! game play with full of errors.if opposition has a perfect day or a very good day,3 set exit for super dan could be a safe bet for indonesia open and World championship
