The correct strategy should be Kim Ha Na / Jung Kyung Eun playing for WD and Chang Ye Na / Shin Baek Cheol playing in XD. this wrong strategy causes Korea to lose. the Korean coach should have known that it will be very difficult for Korea XD to win over Japan Xd when they cannot even win the Malaysia XD.

Okay this also sound and ring the alarm bell. Japan is really rising up and improved a lot in badminton. This is all thanks to the good coach Park Joo Bong. Soemtimes, I just wish that Park Joo Bong will be kind enough to come back and coach the Korean players. After winning the Thomas Cup 2014, Japan is on fire to win the Sudirman Cup 2015.

Going to be tough but a very interesting choice for China's selection of player's. I have it 3-2 to China (Japan takes ladies singles and men's doubles). But for LYB to select ladies doubles, he's got a problem. Who is most reliable and who is in form? Tang Yuan Ting with Ma Jin?

Just memorize it as this then you won't be mixed :p

Kim Ha Na = Princess of Pale

(while Chang Je Na is mighty and more dependable)

Well Japan indeed stumped Korea through all round performance but I am not willing to give a single match to Japan against China . Perhaps a team of LCW in MS ahsan\setiawan in MD , SN in WS and LN\TA in XD and perhaps Takahashi pair in WD can defeat China. :);)

Think you'll retract the statement promptly after the outcome of semifinal #2.

I guess I finally understand what you are saying. You are right. The chances would be this if Malaysia vs Japan today.

    1. MD - Malaysia win.
    2. WS - Japan win.
    3. MS - Malaysia win.
    4. WD - Japan win.
    5. XD - Malaysia win.
So it will be Malaysia 3, Japan 2.

Full credit to Kurihara and Kenta. But it was really Kim HaNa who lost the match. Yeah, if Eom Hye Won was here, it may well be a different outcome.

The umpire for the MS match is busy counting her lucky stars. Had Japan lost, her terrible call will be remembered for years to come. Now, people can just joke about it.

Nowadays no one really seems to remember that LCW won his first AE title with a wrong linecall on matchpoint so...

Yes you are right here. The Korean coach became so desperate at that time that he told Ko Sung Hyun to play at the front net and let Kim Ha Na be the back player. Well this wouldn't work at all because in XD, the women must be in front while the men must be behind.

Well I can sum up here that Korea lose due to the wrong strategy applied today. Ko Sung Hyun / Kim Ha Na shouldn't be playing in today's match. But once again what to do? We cannot find better players to replace them. That is the downfall of everything today.

XD should never had been scheduled to be played last.

The other four events are played in either Thomas or Uber Cup, but not XD.

XD must be played in Sudirman, either as first or third event.

If XD is scheduled last, it may not be played.

To be fair, LCW was on his way to a comfortable win. The shuttle was way, way out to the point that no one took that call seriously. But, it did count.
