CHN is indisputable badminton powerhouse to blank GER, 3-0. Little trouble was delivered by Fuchs/Kaesbauer against Fu/Zhang yesterday as first two ties. the Olympic Champion Zhang/Zhao and Lin Dan brought CHN lead 2-0 through straightforward victory. Korea redeemed their opening match losing, 3-1 and ended Malaysia journey in this event. The always dependable Lee Chong Wei stole 1 point to dispose Son Wan Ho in convincing style. Vivian Hoo/Woon KW kept MAS hope alive as this duo grabbed first game 23-21 before succumbed to Chang YN/Jung KE in next two games, 21-16 / 21-11. The two remaining quarterfinal ties will be played this afternoon and intriguing matches are highly expected. On paper scenario, JPN and former champion INA are favour to meet KOR and CHN respectively tomorrow. LIVE TV (Court 1) : QUARTERFINAL 3 : INA v TPE (01.00pm local time) Group 3 Play-off : CZE v VIE (07.00pm) Court 2 : QUARTERFINAL 4 : DEN v JPN (01.00pm) INA v TPE line-up => https://www.tournamentsoftware.com/...DB73EE0-97F1-4387-A72F-52B49FBE4586&match=447 MD, Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan v Lee Tseng Mu/Tsai Chia Hsin WS, Bellaetrix Manuputty v Tai Tzu Ying MS, Jonatan Christie v Hsu Jen Hao WD, Nitya Krishinda Maheswari/Greysia Polii v Hsieh Pei Chen/Wu Ti Jung XD, Tontowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir v Wang Chi Lin/Chen Hsiao Huan The first match is crucial for both team and will determine their chance to step up into last four as TPE has advantage to scoop two points in singles category while INA is the favourite to seal last two matches, WD and XD. The final scoreline should be 3-2 either for INA or TPE team. DEN v JPN => https://www.tournamentsoftware.com/...DB73EE0-97F1-4387-A72F-52B49FBE4586&match=449 XD, Mads Pieler Kolding/Sara Thygesen v Kenta Kazuno/Ayane Kurihara MS, Viktor Axelsen v Kento Momota WS, Line Kjaersfeldt v Nozomi Okuhara MD, Kim Astrup/Mads Pieler Kolding v Hiroyuki Endo/Kenichi Hayakawa WD, Line Kjaersfeldt/Sara Thygesen v Misaki Matsutomo/Ayaka Takahashi Denmark line-up is pretty odd, Kolding will be paired with Astrup instead of his regular partner Mads Conrad Petersen and Kjaersfeldt will play two discipline, WS and WD. Danish squad has opportunity to grab point through XD, MS, MD as their WS and WD are no match with Japanese players. If the scoreline stands at 2-2 then Japan absolutely will clinch the last match. Will Denmark could pull upset over one of the frontrunners Japan?
If Lee Tseng Mu/Tsai Chia Hsin could win the first match, I'm afraid Indonesia will lose 3-0 to Chinese Taipei. However, I have a feeling that Jonatan Christie could make an upset today. He actually played well against Rajiv Ouseph.
INA and TPE could be 3-2 either way. First tie will set the tone and so far, INA's MD pair have not shown their proper class yet. Escaped out of jail in the Denmark match. Denmark could win by 3-1 (MD, MS, XD) , or Japan by 3-2 (MD, WS, WD).
Is Hsu Jen Hao's style the same as Rajiv's? Hsu Jen Hao as far as I know play a fast-pace style. Can Jonatan match his pace?
Other than MS I do not think Denmark has a chance beating Japan. MS is about 60-40 advantage Denmark. MD is about 50-50 since this Denmark pair is new combo just for the cup.
I dont like the line up Must win md for Ina if not it could be easily 0-3 Anyway who made this line up, usually its xd first, not md...weird... But anything can happen, so keep fighting Ina team !!!
don't worry ... Mohammad Ahsan Indonesia Hendra Setiawan Indonesia - Chinese Taipei Lee Sheng Mu Chinese Taipei Tsai Chia Hsin head to head indo 5 - 1
Correction, based on TS, it's Viktor Axelsen who will play, not JOJ. I don't know if DEN just made a change.

Yes, Kjaersfeldt/Thygesen combo surprises us also Kolding who usually paired up with Conrad. When I opened this thread saw Jorgensen name against Momota, must be changed. Thanks for the correction
counting, still 28 minutes to come.... Now JPN seem to have clearer upper hand over DEN with the change in MS while INA - TPE is pretty close match, practically open end
yes, earlier this morning I saw JOJ vs Momota, instead of Viktor vs Momota. Either TS has made a mistake or the Danish team just changed the player.
How can it be allowed to change a player after both teams have confirmed their entries? Did Jorgensen chicken out or is he injured, maybe then it´s okay?
