Looks like the MAS MD opening match victory is morale-boosting to Team Malaysia ! Goh/Chan has unexpectedly taken G1, just barely 23-21 but an encouraging sign, nonetheless, as they are the underdogs.
Shouldering responsibility for the entire team and not just playing for yourselves can be very stressful and a test of your nerves and character, particularly in a must-win situation. Seems to me, Ko/Kim are feeling more of the effect.
Absolutely, even the malaysian WD had a real shot in the first game. WKH was so pumped up, but I think it backfired on her after losing the first game. Her intensity made her fall apart that much quicker. XD is turning out to be a massive treat for spectators. The Malaysian flare of anticipative play style is back in season it seems.
Can anybody tell me how does the order of play is decided.. Is it random or follows a particular trend?
There's no 3rd set. so disappointed. well, malaysia play so well tonight. They play much better as team. I was definitely underestimate this little team.
So MAS upset KOR 3-2 .To me, LCW's comeback made the difference for Team MAS, even more than the MAS MD win in the opening match.
Congratz to MAS team for making an upset tonight Just watching the fire inside the MAS pair, what a team spirit... just don't think such thing will exist in more individualized games
