Probably. But if they want to line up sponsors and sell tickets, that is not the ideal location.

Outside of the national training centre in Calgary, there are probably less than 500 people who know who LCW is.

    Aww, come on!

Morten Frost played Han Jian in the final which turned out to be a three game thriller with Han Jian hitting a purple patch. Han Jian spoke in a post match interview using English (no interpreter).

Li Yong Bo and Tian Bing Yi played Park Joo Bong and Kim Moon Soo. Again in three games with Li Yong Bo and Tian Bing Yi winning the first game. But Park and Kim rolled out the next two games.

Yup. What was supposed to be his crowning moment, it was not to be.

LCW should stay away from the prairie oyster, the local delicacy that has positive drug test written all over it.

there are in fact a few dedicated badminton gyms in Calgary. so the number is probably larger than that if they are to survive.

Good for them. They surely need the support from those members.

The venue in Calgary is one of the ice rinks used for the Olympics, so there wasn't any difference than the richmond oval or the ubc venue! It is how thick the underlay that matters!
