India Open marks hectic weeks ahead, three Superseries followed by GP Golds also Continental Championships as well that force all top shuttlers busy, in other way it’s good news for all badminton enthusiasts to watch high quality badminton matches longer.

      In the absence of two top names, last year winner & runner-up Lee CW and Chen Long respectively, MS still offers mouth watering showdown between three top contenders, Jorgensen, Srikanth and two times Olympic Champion Lin Dan while Chou Tien Chen, Kento Momota may pose serious threat for those three favourites to shine in New Delhi.

      WS department looks less competitive but this week we’ll see new world #1, the battle between reigning All England champion Carolina Marin and home darling Saina Nehwal as they’re slated to meet at finale. Two potential names who may reject this scenario, Intanon and Okuhara in the absence of Chinese big three Li Xuerui, Wang Yihan and Wang Shixian. For Nehwal herself, it’s personal motivation to win SS at homesoil for the first time since India Open was part of BWF Superseries installment back to 2011.

      MD casts several top 10 pairs, London OG silver medalist Boe/Mogensen, Japan #1 Endo/Hayakawa, Dubai SS Finals runner-up Chai/Hong, former AE champion Liu XL/Qiu ZH also the well improved Conrad/Kolding, KOR and INA elites miss this event. The WD discipline will see the encounter of JPN and CHN combos. Bao YX who reunites with Tang JH had remarkable outcome last year will be the pair to look beside top-seed Matsutomo/Takahashi who suffered below-par performance in Europe tour recently and other potential pairs, Juhl/Pedersen, Luo Twins, Ou/Yu who snatched couple of GP Gold titles last year.

      In XD, without classic foe Zhang/Zhao, Ahmad/Natsir, Xu/Ma the rivalry towards top finisher will projecting Danish finest pair Fischer/Pedersen against China and Indonesia second stringers. Liu/Bao, Lu/Huang, Jordan/Susanto, also Kolding/Juhl who stunned world #2 in Mulheim an Der Ruhr early this month will deliver stiff competition.

     Kenichi Tago (JPN), Liu Xin (CHN), Lindaweni Fanetri (INA), Bellatrix Manuputty (INA), Widianto/Dili (INA) have withdrawn according to ts com last updated.

    Unfortunate, LCW is not participating.

    Even though some players are missing, MS is going to be exciting to watch as usual. Saina need to be careful while playing. If she overstrains herself, it will be difficult for her during qualification period. Hope her shoulder pain wont aggrevate in this tournament.

    That's pretty surprising result that Ivanov lost to unknown home player, next he will concentrate on MD only.

    Most of them were lopsided matches.

    ROUND OF 32 (08.30am local time, 5 courts) => https://www.tournamentsoftware.com/...09AD14-E0E9-4A86-B7A5-545F63DAEC31&d=20150325

    MS top two seeds will take on tricky first round opponent, Jorgensen and Srikanth against Sasaki and Tanongsak respectively. Another interesting ties in this category should be Japan rising star Momota v German fighter Zwiebler and Chou Tien Chen will be challenged by China back up Xue Song.

    Some home pairs get tough test today, Gutta/Ponnappa will up against China Ou/Yu, their teammates Attri/Reddy and Chopra/Dewalkar will meet second seed Endo/Hayakawa and third seed Chai/Hong respectively also IND GP Gold runner-up Attri/Maneesha v defending champion Fischer/Pedersen.

    Is it true that BWF BadmintinWorld.tv youtube live stream starts in 2 hours? Since Victor vs. Sai Praneeth starts at 2 PM local, I doubt it will start at 11 PM US time or 11:35 PM local.

    ashwini and pranaav chopra are playing really well here against the experienced danes kamilla and kolding, a win here will do a lot for boosting their confidence.

    The in-form Danish combo Kolding/Juhl survived from the brink of losing against home XD Chopra/Ponnappa, 21-13 / 20-22 / 21-19.

    yeah. .sikki reddy is playing the best i have ever seen her play, she's so improved. .a doubles specialist coach can really transform the way our pairs play. .its not that our players are not good, its just that they need some better training.
