Two INA remaining representatives here, Christie and Mustofa still advance into last eight and will take on Emil Holst and Gurusaidutt respectively, interesting to follow these future players progress in this IC.
I have to agree that I am so impressed with the good performance of the Indonesian players everytime they go for tournaments. Wow it was such a great achievements from Indonesia to see two of their young stars advancing to the quarterfinals. Anyway Christie Jonathan Junior ranking is no 1 so I certainly believe that this is a young star in the process of becoming a good player in future. Of course we get to see great upsets too from the players across other countries. True there is no representative from Korea. but i significantly also noticed the advancement of the two men doubles from Japan who have also advanced to the quarterfinals as well. (Kenta KAZUNO / Kazushi YAMADA) and (Takuto INOUE / Yuki KANEKO) Well, I believe that for the men doubles department, we will see a Japanese vs Japanese in the finals. Then as for the Men singles, perhaps we can see Indonesia vs Indonesia or Indonesia vs Malaysia in the finals. As or the women doubles I believe that the Indonesians can reach the finals too. I also significantly see the rise of this mixed doubles Chan Peng Soon / Goh Liu Ying who just started playing together in their second tournament after Goh Liu Ying made a return after her one year break due to knee surgery. Who knows maybe both of them can create an upset and reach the finals? Okay I believe that this Polish Open will also be exciting and lets continue to watch the matches live to see which players will reach the finals. I also noticed the significance improvement from the Japanese players under the coaching of Park Joo Bong. Well, I think nobody can deny the fact that Park Joo Bong did a good job to turn Japan from a nobody in badminton to a shinning winning badminton nation in badminton. Japanese players have improved a lot too.

Thanks. here is the latest results. Akshay DEWALKAR / Pradnya GADRE won against LIN Chia Yu / WU Ti Jung 21-17 23-21 0:27. It was a great match. Both refuses to give up and finally India players won the match. Th Indian players hold an edge and won the game confidently. Congratulations to Akshay and Pradnya. Peng Soon CHAN / Liu Ying GOH won against Anton KAISTI / Cheryl SEINEN 21-17 19-21 21-16 0:43. This proves that my prediction is right. It was a tight match. Malaysia won the first match. The Malaysians could have won the second match too after leading the game but the Netherland players never give up and fought hard from game deifcit to win the game 21-19. Finally the Malaysians win again in the finals. Well, this is certainly a good news for the Malaysians as they have only been together in 2 tournaments this year and then they reach the finals of this tournament. Well, congratulations to them. Karin SCHNAASE [1] Germany just won the first set against Bulgaria Petya NEDELCHEVA [3] 21-16. I predicted that the German player will win and I think she definitely will win. She plays better.
Okay Karin Schnaase just won the match 21-16, 21-10. Congratulations to her. Now waiting to watch the exciting match of Liew Daren and Ihsan Maulana MUSTOFA. Both have an equal chance to win. Lets see who will win this match.
Wow unbelieveable Liew Daren just won the first set 21-14. Wow Liew Daren has improved a lot. What a great game. Okay continue to watch the second set.
Okay a big upset has just been created. I never expect Liew Daren to win this match. I was sort of predicting that the finals will be an Indonesia vs Indonesia. Wow, Liew Daren defy all the odds to reach the finals. Wow he won this match in a fantastif mannerv with a big marginal score over Ihsan Maulana Mustofa 21-14, 21-14. He never give his opponent a chance and he really attacked all the way to win this match. Congratulations. In the other court Emil Host won against Kestutis Navickas with the same score too 21-14, 21-14. Well Emil Host won the game as predicted. I think tomorrow men single is going to be very exciting with Liew Daren and Emil Host both refuses to lose and both giving all their best to win the match. Okay Marija ULITINA [5] Ukraine has won against Denmark Anna Thea MADSEN [2]. What an exciting match. Now the exciting match of Japanese men doubles vs Poland. I am very sure the Japanese will win.
Okay Kenta Kazuno / Kazushi Yamada finally won the first set 21-19 within 13 minutes. What a close match. I thought that the match will be very one sided favouring the Japanese but it turned out to be a very exciting match.
Okay Kenta Kazuno / Kazushi Yamada finally won the match 21-19, 21-10 within 23 minutes. What a close match. I thought that the match will be very one sided favouring the Japanese but it turned out to be a very exciting match. Yes the second set clearly favours the Japanese to win. I guess Park Joo Bong must be smilling happily now. Predicted that the finals will be Japanese vs Japanese for men doubles. Very sleepy so I will sleep now. I will update the results again tomorrow. Alex BRUCE [4] / Phyllis CHAN won against Lisa KAMINSKI / Hannah POHL as predicted. The Canadians won the match 21-16, 21-16.
Both Mustofa and Christie failed to go further, stopped at semifinal and quarterfinal respectively. Emil Holst and former French SS champion Liew Daren will meet for today final while Germany WS Karin Schnaase will up against surprising finalist Ukranian Marija Ultina.
Don't feel sad. I thought that both Ihsan Maulana Mustofa and Jonathan Christie will reach the finals based on their superb performance in the previous tournaments. it is okay. lots of upsets have been created. For the Mixed doubles finals I am predicting Chan Peng Soon / Goh Liu Ying to win the match due to their superb performance. they defy all the odds to reach the finals. For the women doubles finals I am predicting Pradnya GADRE / N. Sikki Reddy to win. Their recent performance in tournaments are great. For the Men Single finals I am predicting Liew Daren to win. His peformance in the semi finals is very good and maybe he can spring in some surprise to win again. He also defy all the odds to reach the finals. For the men doubles final I am predicting Kenta Kazuno / Kazushi Yamada to win. Japanese have improved a lot under Park Joo Bong coaching and I am very sure they will win the gold medals due to their superb performance. For the women singles finals I am predciting Karin SCHNAASE to win due to her higher ranking and also her good performance throughout the whole tournament. Well this are just my predictions and I may be wrong here. I will stay up tonight to watch the finals.
