K Momota went out tamely 9-21 in G1 but came back to turn the tables on his opponent, M Zwiebler, with 21-15 and 21-16 to advance to the QFs.

Honestly I don't think it's such a major issue rn, Olympic qualification period has not started. It is best for her that she doesn't try to do too many competitions right now, heal up, and be at her best when OG qualification period heats up.

Chou TC is a very physical player, using his superb fitness and athleticism to bulldoze or grind down most of his opponents, his latest victim being Takuma Ueda, 14-21, 21-9, 21-17.

From the BWF records, LXR at the moment only has 9 tournaments (where the 10 best results count) with 84244 ranking points to maintain her WR1 status. After this AE early exit and skipping the IND SS , I doubt she can remain at the No.1 spot by then.

Right, she had better rest well, recuperate fully, recover her fitness completely and then regain her form to the top again in time for the OG qualification cycle.

The question is can WSX capitalize this opportunity and regain her WR1 status or will we have a new WS world no.1.

Whoa, Viktor Axelsen did the same to Scott Evans what Chen Long did just now to Hsu Jen Hao.

Liu/Qiu's speed and heavy firepower is threatening to destroy the JPN pair in G2.

One SF slot for CHN MD guaranteed...with both Lee/Yoo and Ahsan/Setiawan out it is a good opportunity for them to take it.

Good to see THW playing with intensity and able to keep pace with Lin Dan, 14-all...

What an energy-sapping rally, THW is pushing LD really hard for every point, 1-all in G2.

THW in the lead 7-6, he's giving as good as he gets from LD.

THW actually had a realistic chance of equalizing in G2, he played pretty well, and Lin Dan had to dig deep to beat him, 21-19. If only THW was in the other half of the draw, we might well see him in the final.

Well , why not, I hope so except, honestly, I'm not too confident of her, not even for WYH.

Me too! i hope they can perform here pretty well but it seems like they are a bit fragil and with the others players who are rising that is not reassuring. Currently, WSX is doing well against BYJ i'm quite happy :)

    Delighted for Ouseph.

Has a good shot of beating Sasaki tomorrow

Both players have had long matches so far

Probably his best chance of reaching an All England SF
