Back in 2007, when this was called "Austrian International Championships", Zhao YunLei / Cheng Shu beat Tian Qing / Pan Pan in the WD Final.

It would be interesting to see if any participants in this year's competition will go on to complete the golden slam.

Looking forward for INA young doubles pairs while there's no significant improvement in singles category.

INA has representatives in almost all 5 disciplines except MS. Singles category sole survivor, Hera Desi Ana Rachmawati will take on second seed Bulgarian Linda Zetchiri. An exhibition match will be staged today, the great Dane MS Peter Gade v local player Michael Lahnsteiner.

Yeah, will be fun to watch Peter Gade play in that exhibition match. Been a pretty good tournament so far.

Thanks for the video link. Coaches are all salivating over the comfy loveseat courtside.

wow that was a crazy end to the MS finals! Yellow and then Red card to IZZ (Mas) for game misconduct - he went and took off his shoe on match point as KLA waited to serve. The umpire gave the final gave the final game to KLA - even he was stunned and confused as he also didn't know what just happened!

    that was weird ending!

INA shuttlers claimed three titles that coming from doubles category while Hera Desi failed to go further, lost by Zetchiri at last four.

Totally disappointed with the MS ending. It screwed my good mood and made me forget about the Gade/Lahnsteiner match. The yellow card was enough, Angus would have also deserved it for delaying the service. The audience wanted to see the ending after such a great comeback from 13-19 to 19-19.

I didn't understand why umpire has shown red card for such a silly things and announced the opponent as winner... !!!! At 19-19 , Hongkong player was not ready and the umpire had to call a let. And then once again, iskandar was asked to serve. This time the hongkong player took a point and now the match point has arrived. Now Iskandar started tying his shoe laces without asking the umpire . The umpire has shown yellow card. Ok.. Acceptable.. Then for few seconds or so, he was roaming without being ready. Umpire suddenly showed red card. She could have warned for one more time.. This is my opinion.

This is not new . Even i watched Iskandar playing srikanth in India open GPG 2015 last month where when service judge called a service fault on his serve, he raised his hands and said something pointing towards service judge and got yellow card. But red card is too much..

He is an absolute player. He need to control his emotions. From 10-18 down, he came back to equalize the score at 19-19 and then to receive a red card... Hufff.....

Iskandar was really pushing his limits. So he fell for the classic hand raised not ready let during his serve. But he crossed the line when he took off his shoe without first getting permission from the umpire. So he got a yellow card which is in itself already a warning for delay. Then immediately proceeds to towel down and get a drink, again without first getting permission. Red card is next.

Thanks maam.... But i am not convinced with this judgement. Then there would not be any difference between this one and the brawl between thailand players.

Technically it was only a single point given away for the red card, just too bad for him that it happened at match point.
And the brawl was a black card incident.

But if you watch it again, it does seem kind of rude and defiant that Iskandar walked off to towel down and drink without permission from the umpire, right after getting a yellow card.
