Can't see China coming back. 4 points to make up is like climbing a mountain against HS

After the mid-game interval, suddenly CHN MD loses a string of easy points in double quick time and couldn't recover from it.

Finally, another HKG SS title for Hendra Setiawan after his victory with Markis Kido in 2007 (7 years ago). I was there then (with Hau-Ge) to witness their impressive wins over Fu/Cai (in SF) and then over Tony/Candra in the Final. We even celebrated Kido/Hendra and Nova/Butet's victories with an excellent dinner, together with the INA players and coaches. That was indeed a memorable occasion!

So, 3rd title of the year for Hendra Setiawan/Mohd Ahsan, after their more important victories at the All-England and Asian Games Individual Event. They also managed to avenge their two losses to Liu/Qiu. Can they retain their BWF SS Finals title in Dubai this year?

The finalized MD line-up for Dubai will be (correct me if I am wrong):
KOR - Lee Yong Dae/Yoo Yeon Seong and Ko Sung Hyun/Shin Baek Cheol
CHN - Liu Xiaolong/Qiu Zihan and either Chai Biao/Hong Wei or Fu Haifeng/Zhang Nan (Chai/Hong are ranked higher though)
    INA - Hendra Setiawan/Mohd Ahsan
    TPE - Tsai Chia-Hsin/Lee Sheng-Mu
    DEN - Mathias Boe/Carsten Mogensen
    JPN - Hiroyuki Endo/Kenichi Hayakawa

CL suddenly seem to have too much of competition! My winner prediction during round 1 was CL or SHW. Was a bit biased towards CL, but glad that SHW made it.

There comes the poor old Wendy again. I couldn't see any quality of being a good interviewer from her. She should have retired from the scene decades ago.

Did you hear what Wendy asked Zhang Nan/Zhao YL?

Wendy: "You have beaten Xu/Ma so many times. What advice would you give them?"

Zhang Nan was stunned and felt embarrassed!!!

a diplomatic answer: "We were just lucky."

I think ZYL will climb political ladder in no time.

Ouch! Can't HKBA find a better interviewer and translator?
