A great day for Indian shuttlers today, taking both of the singles at the homecourt of the China. Congratulations to Srikanth, he plays very well today.

A lacklustre display from Lin Dan, sluggish and erratic, and Srikanth capitalized on it. CTC didn't yesterday.

i understand lin dan is not at his best but you can't simply win something just like that. .sk worked hard in his previous matches to reach the final and he is giving it a shot. .win or loose doesn't matter, he's just not lucky enough to reach the final. .he has worked for it.

Srikanth was only in 2nd gear all game. Surprisingly easy win.

He played much better against LCW (earlier this year I think) and still lost.

    Ahaha..
Lin Dan looked relaxed and overconfident in the beginning..I guess he was too late to sense the danger..
    He must be in disbelief

Well, LD is god of badminton, no doubt, period. But, if the god is sleeping it's not the kids fault. Beating the god at his den by a kid is no mean feat. Give the kid the credit he deserves. Respect !!!!

No sweat for Lin Dan, he knows what and why, no need to push himself too hard, watch his knee, and prepare for next week's HK SS.

For both Saina and Srikanth, Fuzhou, Fujian is a great venue and carries on sweet memory for them, esp. Srikanth who gets his very first :D
