A fully fit CTC couldn't beat a less-than-fit Lin Dan, I don't know when CTC will get another chance to do so in the foreseeable future when Lin Dan is completely recovered.

Well, tomorrow the golden opportunity is given to K Srikanth, up to him to seize it.

I forgot, there is still the HK Open next week. More opportunities for more players to beat Lin Dan, don't wait until he's fully fit.

Marc Z must be slightly injured to retire mid-way in the 2nd set, a tough fighter like him will never throw in the towel.

I don't think we will ever get to see the fast, explosive and powerful LD any more. Even if he is fully fit, which he is not at the moment (still careful not to aggravate his knee problem), his age dictates that we have to accept and watch his new "tai chi' brand of badminton.

Marc retired?. Unfortunate for this veteran. Hope he come back from recovery soon. He is a true fighter. Get well soon mark. Definitely, srikanth would not have wanted this kind of victory.

T'ai Chi brand of badminton, I couldn't think of a more apt description.

correct me if I'm wrong but i think he is the first MS player from india to reach SS or SSP final and the third Indian player/pair to reach ss/ssp final (After SN and Jwala/Diju).

He did not enter superseries tournament final yet but entered SSP final. Really a very good player at present in india. But he is too inconsistent.

My concern is he is going to play CTC in the first round of HONG KONG OPEN next week.

The Wonder Kids, ZSW/CQC, are not giving their illustrious senior compatriots any face, leading 8-6 atm...

So instead of Shaolin Kung Fu, Lin Dan has switched to Tai Chi badminton.

I think it's one match too many for LK/HYQ, coming up against the KOR Yoo/Eom.

Don't be deluded with the view that LD is not 100% fit.

He did not show his weakness in the match against CTC and was able to match CTC shot for shot, speed for speed, and always remain on top in the end.

Srikanth should take all opportunity to attack LD as he has a powerful smash and is quick on his feet. :D
