Yeah, 3 line calls against Saina. This is definitely not normal. But, I have watched all live matches yesterday, today and some in r16. All the other matches were very fair. This seems to be the outlier, but I won't go as far to suggest that there is any malicious thing happening, because there is hawk eye, and line judges can make mistakes, but yes I agree 3 against a particular player, are too much for coincidence.
While others may accuse China of colluding, I think 3 line calls against a particular player are really too much to ignore totally. But, I highly doubt that there is any collusion. What I think is that line judges being Chinese want a particular call personally. Often in close situations they see, what they want to see. Called confirmation bias.
If you guys believe there's any wrongdoing by the linejudges, say it openly, go to the press and directly to BWF, identify yourself so that BWF will take your complaints seriously instead of hiding here. By doing that, you will really help the player(s) concerned. Otherwise, BWF may just take it as a lot of hot air. Have the courage of your conviction, do it.
I am just wondering how unlucky it is to be a chinese second stringer. They get no attention, no international exposure. Some players like Liu Xin, Sun Yu etc. almost seem wasted because of that. Attention and Exposure do wonders!
Com'on Justin. That's slightly unfair. Even you won't go to complaint seeing any wrong done. Like remember that time when the umpire made a correction at his far side against Lin Dan, which was totally not right. (In the Asian Games)
