After XD Zeng Siwei/Chen Qingchen, this time it's XD Lu Kai/Huang Yaqiong's turn to stun the Adcocks.

The Chinese pair were actually favourites for the match.

Gabby isn't playing well right now and Chris is trying to do too much by himself

Tago played way under his capabilities and therefore lost to an inspired playing Gao Huan...

Gao Huan disposed of K Tago in two straight sets unexpectedly. To me, Gao Huan is like Han Li, occasionally able to upset much higher-ranked players but would fail to follow it up by good results in the end; that's why Gao Huan is still a second tier CHN MS. Frankly he's quite fortunate to be routinely sent to SS/PSS level tournaments.

Odds aren't available yet but Bet365, 888 & Marathon bet will both allow you to do an accumulator on the WS matches tomorrow.

I think the so called coaching is really bothering. Check the last tournaments at Bitburger, all the players with coaching, including Tian HW, all lost before final, both finalists, including CTC, the winner, played extremely well without coaching.

Yes, Tago was totally lackadaisical. His mind was somewhere else.

I do not pity him. I take my hat off to him. He does not need a coach. He is his own coach

18-yr-old Qin Jinjing is not He Bingjiao, it's too much to expect her to beat Saina.

Han Li vs Intanon R is 50-50 though HL has won their previous two meetings; their H2H is 4-3 in favour of HL.

Sun Yu, who is playing her back-to-back tourney, may still be able to handle the crafty Tai TYbut I still think it's about 50-50. Admittedly, SY is making good improvement of late and their H2H is (they only met twice) 2-0 in SY's favour.

Bae YJ has a very good defence to deal with the ferocious attacker,Yao Xue, who is inconsistent and error-prone, therefore, I think a slight but significant advantage to BYJ.

Suo Di, Liu Xin, Wang Yihan and Wang Shixian should prevail over their respective opponents; perhaps Liu Xin vs Eriko Hirose is less clear-cut among this group but LX's chances are still good.

I'd say Nguyen TM never have a good coach from Vietnam, none available for a world class player that he is. I think he doesn't need a coach, he's basically self-taught.

Have to count Akane Yamaguchi, who won SS before. AY may not have heavy weapons, but never die easily. She could grab lots of points once her opponent absentminded just a second.

Right, Akane Y like He BJ has the potential to upset anyone - WSX certainly won't dare to take her young opponent lightly.

Nope, since that match was played at court 3. From losing with such narrow point and then only got 8, just conclude Ahsan/Setiawan totally lost focus against CHN juniors.

Tang Yuanting / Huang Yaqiong had a pretty good win over Lee So Hee / Shin Seung Chan in a battle of youth. The Koreans were the standard bearers in their junior days.

Unfortunately, the TYT/HYQ partnership may end today. While disappointing at Bitburger, I hope LYB gives them a couple more tournaments.
