All of them,CTC, TM Nguyen, Srikanth, are pretty much smashing, agressive all the time.

Tontowi/Natsir better wins tomorrow. They should outclass the husband/wife Adcocks with superb netting/trick shot of Natsir up front and Tontowi's agressive up front too.

I think T&N have good chance to take the mix double. The most interesting game for me is MS. If WZM can take the title, he will improve in his confidence and hope it is turning point in his career.

But back then, in those 2 big events, WZM also need to deal with the 'unusual' pressure, to bringing the team that victory in AG and save the team from 0-3 whitewash in TC. And how much that pressure will affected his play would remain a mistery as TC and AG men team event already a history. :)

But still, good to see if this guy finally can took his game to a new stage. By then he might could get his chances in next team events. Again, only time will tell the end of this 'story'.

I don't know about CTC and Srikanth but NTM is not a smasher. He is a runner and usually ran out of steam against better players.

    FINALS (01.00pm local time) => http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/s...891CCF-5EC3-4BFB-9645-196CF683C541&d=20141026

Two titles in women's category have been secured by CHN shuttlers and may add 1 more through MS.

    WD, Ma Jin/Tang Yuanting (CHN, 5th) v Wang Xiaoli/Yu Yang (CHN, 7th)
    Head-to-head stats : 0-2
The lower seeded and more experienced WD pair will retain their 2011 title.

MS, Wang Zhengming (CHN, 5th) v Chou Tien Chen (TPE)
    H-2-H : 2-0
Chou Tien Chen excellent performance continues, he stunned Jorgensen, Axelsen and Sugiarto en route to first ever final in SS tournament. Wang ZM had won 1 SS title previously, 2013 China Masters that downgraded to GP Gold level started from this year. This gonna be exciting encounter between two finalists.

WS, Li Xuerui (CHN, 1st) v Wang Shixian (CHN, 2nd)
    H-2-H : 4-4
Third French Open final for the Olympic Champion after 2010 and 2011 edition where she lost to Wang YH and Wang Xin respectively. Against defending champion, this match will be tough call to predict.

    XD, Chris Adcock/Gabrielle Adcock (ENG, 4th) v Tontowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir (INA, 3rd)
    H-2-H : 1-2
The chance for INA pair to claim victory here after defeated their arch-rival yesterday.

    MD, Mathias Boe/Carsten Mogensen (DEN, 1st) v Hiroyuki Endo/Kenichi Hayakawa (JPN, 2nd)
    H-2-H : 4-1
Like WS scenario, the last of 5 finals goes to the script where top seed takes on 2nd seed. Numerous times in final of SS tourneys for JPN #1, will they finally get the title today? The Danish combo however is still favourite to top podium once again in Paris after 2010.

    My forecast for winners:

    MS: WZM
    WS: LXR
    MD: BoMo
    WD: WXL/YY
    XD: Towi/Butet

But I welcome upsets, and hope CTC could be one.

    Exactly same for me...
But would be more happy if CTC,Ma/Tang, and WSX wins
Although my brain says it can't happen at least today

    My forecast for winners:

MS: WZM - H2H 2-0, all in straight

WS: WSX, is defending champion here, more all out, higher motivation to win here, H2H 4-4
among the five disciplines, this prediction has the highest probability to miss

    MD: BoMo, H2H 4-1

WD: WXL/YY, H2H 2-0, need to reclaim their duly top WR position urgently

XD: Towi/Butet, H2H 2-1, unless the history repeats itself, the sole victory by the spouse couple was done in the French Open last year

If WZM does not win this title, I will never again support him.

This is his chance. But he is prone to choke. His match against Momota was impressive.

We know that who plays in tv courts in earlier rounds is determined mainly by the tournament sponsor, but I wonder how the order of play is decided. Maybe also by the sponsor.
