Is it just me, or has Wang yihan changed her playing style?
Earlier she used to be extremely aggressive and took initiative.

Wang Yihan getting it right in the 2nd game. Saina seems to be out of ideas.

Saina desperately needs to work on her movement.

Wang Yihan's ability to keep piling on the pressure with relentless pursuit to run the opponent down was somewhat absent in G2 but it emerges in G2 to turn the match around, esp in G3 for a runaway victory.

    Home fave Lee YD/Yoo YY won convincingly, 21-16 / 21-11 over Pratama/Saputro.

Well. Lee YD / Yoo YS destroyed the INdonesians who beat CAi/Fu yesterday. I thought this could become a very close match, but Pratama/Saputro once again show how inconsistent they are (ofc I didn´t expect them to win, but a close fight was in the range after yesterday)

Came back from outside and saw that saina lost in 3 games.

What a spirited display by srikanth. Unfortunate he could not win it. But son wonho did it in 3 games. And increased his h2h to 3-2.

    The score is 19-21, 21-11, 21-18

In that match between Saina & WangYihan, it was all one way traffic in the 3rd set.. And during the mid-game interval the score was 11-1.

Very good play by Wang Yihan..

Bae YJ has been playing more forcefully in the Games here, not rallying too much as usually characteristic of her play and it's paying dividends - she just ousted Intanon R by the score of 21-4, 18-21 and 21-8 !

I think Wang YH will have a tough match with her tomorrow as Bae YJ also possesses a strong, stubborn defence. WYH had better play more intelligently and not rely overly on brute force or she would be drawn into a bruising, exhausting battle.
