Bae would have got that confidence after beating sindhu in team competition. She said in an interview " it's very difficult to come on court today. The loss in the world championships to sindhu keep on going in my mind. Am very happh that I won her today."

Definitely, in front of home crowd, she will play better than usual.

didn't watch this match but since the world champ last year, she has not performed well in most tournaments. she lack the consistencies of the China players.

Not sure how far the home advantage works but Bae certainly has good mental character. She won the first set in merely 10 mins with an impeccable scoreline of 21-4 and then lost the 2nd set. That could've drastically affected her mentally but she still managed to come out all guns blazing to win the decider in emphatic fashion.

What's wrong with Momota, reversal of tight game 1, Chen Long won game 2 easily with single digit, 21-6.

Son Wan Ho races off to a 6-1 lead against Srikanth in the 2nd set. Still feel Son favorite to win in 3 sets.
