yup. it is like that. unfortunately. case in point. i was reading some fb post by some USA fan, their comment for a match is usually like: it is now <so and so> vs. China. my reaction is, that "China" player has a name, and the US player is not playing against China. but instead a person.
I was surprised when the organizer put this XD match last instead of the MS. For badminton lovers, all the matches are worth watching except the WS. LXR played so badly, so amateurish, that any of the quarter-finalists would have beaten her in the final.
Maybe we need to give a little bit spotlight of the player personal life, to add more spices in the badminton world like in tennis
