What an eventful World Championships, even before the start of the tournament and then after.

WYH is simply out of sorts, not quite herself.

JOJ still struggling to continue in front of home crowd.

Poor JOJ now surrenders to applauding fans.

What a shame for a disappointed JOJ at a time when he has a chance to fight for the title.

On court 1, coming up next the XD match between our pair of Danny and Vanessa against Xu/Ma #2 (CHN). Lets see how many points our pair can score.

I feel bad for WYH but its give me immense satisfaction as she was beaten by a non-Chinese player that too, a European. Haven't seen that in a long while....

WYH self-destructs. I mean if you've been following her , you know how she plays, what she is capable of, this is just not her, so amateurish, so error-prone, so clueless, totally not into her game.

Yes, you are right Justin. I look into her eyes and I didn't find any fighting spirit, it was not WYH on court.

may be they should not limit the number of players a country can send to elite level competitions, may be what BWF should do is to make strict rules against cheating and things like throwing away matches when you are scheduled to play against one of your team mates, may be what BWF should do is to make use of umpires and referees from all over the world this is specially in reference to china open premier super series where umpires and line judges surpass the limits of biasness. i am not supporting saina nehwal's statement at all and i have serious doubts that whether she has said something like this or its another cheap little thing which media always does, i think that whole article is doctored but what i think is if players have to throw away matches when scheduled to play their team mates than it sounds logic to give chance to those who really wan't to fight for it and aren't playing to lose. .with due respect to all the world class and talented chinese players.

I wonder what happened. This is her last chance to prove herself to go to AG, and it was totally destroyed by herself.

I think the losses in Indonesia and Japan have majorly impacted Wang Yihan. She's pretty much in self-doubt if she can win again the way she used to. She's a brilliant player and one of my favorites (listed her as my favorite on my profile too) and hopefully, she'll make a great comeback soon.
