SungJiHyun has problem with tall players... She was beaten by Sindhu for 4 times in a row with a very comfortable leads already..

Ratchanok knows how to play tall players ..

Most of IR's feints, disguised and trick shots are working on Sun Yu.

Too many unforced errors from Sun Yu, it will be game over soon.

Well, it wasn't a very good match-up at all, and I had expected that it would've been. The passivity from Sun Yu was just painful to watch, and needless to be said, Ratchanok was just playing wonderfully strong like we know she can. Kudos to her, and let's hope that IR has regained her mojo enough to win this tournament; goodness knows she needs it after all her dismal performances lately.

When I think of how Sun Yu played and beat Sindhu twice a couple months ago, I can't imagine this is the same Sun Yu. Hope she draws a valuable lesson and learn a lot from it as one who overcomes failure without being dispirited emerges stronger thereby.

On the whole, a fine victory by Intanon. I look forward to her clash with WSX tomorrow.

It is only natural that so young players have ups and downs. Not everyone is LCW. You guys see too much in one bad or good result.

Sun yu lacks a penetrating smash and deception. RI can anticipate most of her shots. I am afraid she needs to improve a lot more to be a threat to the top ranked players. Technical ability alone is not good enough when you face a player with good timing and clever shot making.

I respect sunyu.. She is one of my favourites.. But some of the fan boys here like mrinalini who drags others for fight.. He called Sindhu as a "third rated player"... In my book, third rated player never win top ranked players and tournaments and win bronze medal in world championships .. Lol... I will be there always to reply him forever..

And for your reference, just this year alone, both WSX and WYH have each beaten Sindhu twice, a total of four defeats, plus another two by Sun Yu, that makes it six, just counting the CHN players. So, what's your point ? I'm talking about one thing, the Sun Yu I know, and, as always, you've to bring in other issue not directly related to the point I'm making.

Anyway, today's Sun Yu is not the real Sun Yu, we will see a very different Sun Yu next time, I'm very sure.
