Chen Long squanders a 5 pt lead at 18-13 and is lucky to win the deuce in the end.

Such a shame about Simon! I was thinking he was the only one who might possibly challenge LCW.

Yeah, SS was the last one to beat LCW but that match was ...er a bit suspicious.

For Chen Long, the last time he was dealt a blow by Kevin Cordon in the 1st round of a world championship, he sank into depression and it took him about six months to get over it. This time, his TC debacle occurred in a major team championship, the impact on him will be much worse, not sure how or when he's going to recover from it. I'd expect to see him inconsistent and unpredictable in his performance for several months thereafter. So don't be surprised when he loses to anyone, anytime. We shall see.

ZN is more focus on MD now that he has been eliminated from XD.

Won 1st game 21-18 and now leading 16-14 in the 2nd.

It's Chen Yuekun vs Chen Long tomorrow. CYK had beaten CL before at the Chinese National Games last year. CYK beating CL is a possibility I won't rule out, esp considering how well the former has played this two days, knocking out K Srikanth and V Axelsen.

An easy G1 to Intanon, 21-10. Tee JY isn't a bad player, imo, she should do better in G2.

i like the combination Gutta/Ponappa , they can be even better if they could work more on their defense , they lack very much of this . what's more , gutta should evolve at the back and the same goes for ashwini in the front.

Phew, a luck of the net cord finally seals victory for Sari/Yao.
