Indonesia has started producing many MD pairs . They have been doing extra ordinarily well.

Indonesia has always been the best in MD, it's a tradition.

But last time in olympics , china won it. Indonesian MD has really impressed me in the recent times. They have this unusual fast flat exchanges which are unattrative to viewers but very very effective. I wonder sometimes, WTH they have been doing. Even before realising what has happened , the match is over. I hope even this phase will change.

I dont think so. Only Ahsan/Hendra have been doing well, others are not that well.

Not right now, compared to previous era.

OK, I agree that Indonesia indeed has some talented MD players, but they haven't produced good pairs. look Angga/Ryan for example. They have been in SS circuit for almost 5 years, but never get SS title. They are not comparable to what Hendra/Kido did in their age. Hendra/Kido has olympic gold medal in the age of Angga/Ryan right now.

The cheer is so loud that I barely hear what GC is talking. Where do the Indonesian fans get the energy to cheer so hard for so long? They cheered hard all day yesterday and don't seem to get tired at all today.

that is not right translation. I don't how to say this in english.
expression "siapa dulu pelatihnya? " is used to show some kind of arrogance.
the word "dulu" in this expression is not the same as "previous" CMIIW

GC needs to be given some slack. Commentating is not an easy job. She has to cater for the mass audience who are not as involved in badminton as are the experts here. Hence, there will be repetition of facts when the same player turns up in two different tournaments.

No wonder CBA continues to give 2nd stringer Chen Yuekun opportunities to play at the SS level. He's accounted for K Srikanth's and now Tommy's conqueror Viktor Axelsen's defeats. Well done, keep it up,CYK !

It's sad to see WYH lose so early again in a SS tournament. Hopefully, she will bounce back soon or else she could be dumped again by LYB and who knows for how long. He could be a hard taskmaster.

I guess many attacking players dislike or even dread playing WSX, she is so fast and is all over the court getting everything back forcing her opponents to run with her and when they attack her prematurely, the shots more often than not come back with interest.

But, I can't help repeating myself, she is still not smashing enough even when the situation calls for it which lands her into trouble sometimes. In her match with Carolina Marin just now, there were at least three occasions when CM's returns were a bit short, yet WSX chose to drop shot or tap the shuttle over.

However, a bit of a surprise to me, there was also a couple of times when WSX suddenly played a smash when I least expected it and they turned out to be outright winners. Proves that she can smash if she wants to - I believe Chen Jin is working on this aspect of her game as she has become a more sharp and forceful player but not aggressive, certainly no longer that passive as she once was.
