play save to win 1 point is MD2...still TWK AND GVS the best....malaysia need win 3-1....

if TWK/GVS play MD1 just 50-50 to win 1 point....

I don't think its even 50-50 if you put them as MD#1, they are up against the world champions. Being a scratch pair with above average skills can net you some upsets here and there but they won't stand a chance against Ahsan/Setiawan. I think Malaysia must give up MD1 and rely on the same 3 points as they had been relying on all tournament.

Put CWF to play in both MS2 and MD2 (with which partner doesn't matter).
Then MAS can moved the 2nd MS to be played first before MD1 and MAS can pick the right combination against the World Champion.

However, the best option is to rely on LCW, CWF (MS2) and MD2.

    I also concur.

Our MD1 so static. Totally no chance against INA MD1.
Our MD2 has great potential if they carry on playing this form.
Let's pray for the best for our Malaysian Thomas Cup team !

No contact with them. Different religion.
    But INA has bomohs too.

Badminton : INA vs MAS - INA stronger.
Bomoh : INA vs MAS - INA also stronger.

    I rest my case.

All hopes lie on CWF. If he can secure a victory again, we are one foot in the final. Just hope it doesn't go all the way to the 3rd singles though................

this boils down who can handle the nerves and pressure better and the strategy. I pick indonesia to have the upper hand because Malaysians could be a bundle of nerves and that Rexy is on the other side and he is a good motivator for the Indonesians.

And wow, MD#1 certainly delivered after a lacklustre performance against the Danes yesterday. Never seen Tan Boon Heong so motivated for the past few years. Very pleased with their progress to the final, but we have to be careful here, as we can see that MS#1 is no longer a sure point as Tago is shown to be very dangerous. Assuming that the line-up will be kept the same as it has been the victory formula, The JPN pairs are no easy meat and HTH/TBH and GVS/TWK have to fancy their chances. Momota Kento might be too difficult for Chong Wei Feng to handle, and I have completely zero faith in Liew Daren now.

The key matches are Lee Chong Wei vs Tago Kenichi, Hoon Thien How/Tan Boon Heong vs Endo/Hayakawa and Goh V Shem/Tan Wee Kiong vs Keigo/Takeshi. Malaysia has a small chance to win the Thomas Cup and they should really take their chances against Japan even though they might start as the underdogs.

I am so excited and can't wait to see the final!!! It has been a long long while to see Malaysia playing in finals! It will be a tough game against the Japanese but I hope Malaysia team can bring back the Thomas Cup this year.

When does the final go live on youtube? I am in Canada West Coast. Thanks!!
