Wow. Sandra saves game point once again to win the match. That can't have been a fun match to lose, too bad for Fuzz.

This pair looks plenty good. Very experienced. They will need a little time to work on their teamwork but I think it's a reliable one. Good timing for their TC defence.

The last 2 MD matches lived up to their respective billings.

Whoever it is that comes up with these badminton nicknames needs to have a good look at themselves.

Tomorrow features 10 CHN reps, with 4 guaranteed to make the final.

I guess I spoke too fast, you are right. I still look forward to their stabilization though. Same goes for Qiu/Liu* and CB/HW. Apparently there will still be some experiments of pairings in the next tournaments.

    * Those are supposed to be stabilized, but the latest results have not been great?
In fact the whole of MD pairings is unstable post-olympics, and now post LYD/KSR-ban because of WADA

Definitely disappointed with Liu/Qiu who burst onto the scene with so much promise and excitement. Guess they haven't been able to sustain it.

That line-up and schedule for the SF tomorrow is flabbergasting.

    http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/s...A247C0-51DE-4A7E-A3A6-EED7607702D3&d=20140308

What I find particularly questionable about it is the fact that one court has 4 matches, the other, 6. This puts undue strain (second day running) on MJ and ZYL but gives KSH almost twice the time to recover. I think we're gonna hear a lot of strong opinions on this, and rightly so.

At least INA is going to have 1 rep in the MD Final tomorrow.

As for XD, I foresee another rematch between Owi/Butet and Zhang/Zhao (after last year's AE Final).

Time to revive the "downgrade AE" thread ?

But yes, you are right, the schedule is very questionable, and not at first sight because it's 4 vs 6 matches ...

I hope they change it, they certainly can, and they should.

In fact, if they moved the Indonesia MD to court 2, and exchange the XD, I would be happy :p
