Saina escapes ! To be frank, I hadn't expected just a Deng Xuan is enough to trouble IND top WS player. As I predicted earlier, the title is Saina's to lose.

yeah, the chinese wasn't really that impressive in the opening game, but played herself into the match and i think she should have won it. i think that not the last role played that wronged line call - it was a great smash, much better and definitely closer than that sliced one that was called in and saina disputed for quite some time.

I agree. Too bad, the match was marred by a few dubious linecalls; unfortunately, no instant review challenge system for GPG tourneys.

The head of the shuttle looks out but the shuttle feather seems to hit the line, which means out.

What a crappy performance by Saina? Got beaten by the same cross court countless times. Wonder how she is going to beat the top WS players with such a bad form.

After losing the second set and trailing 6-0 , I thought saina will lose today. But she won it.. regarding the line calls, here it is much better than china and korea. Definitely, saina should go and check where it went wrong in the second game.

Agree that she will not stay in top 10 ranking with such performance today.

The Indian WS players performance level has dropped a lot. Something drastic needs to be done to address this.

Hopefully tomorrow we will see a good WS finals.
