Not sure if Tian Houwei is able to handle back-to-back tournaments after two previous failures. So far so good here. But it's only R2 and he's on the verge of being forced to play the decider. I hope he finishes his Univ studies by mid next year and be fully into badminton training and competition.

WZM is a very quick player both in movement and attacking. Now he seems to be a smarter player as well, playing more disguised shots instead of always unleashing his killer smash. I hope his 'habit' of giving away easy points is much reduced, it's an annoying weakness of his.
Too bad the Luo twin sisters couldn't prevail in the decider against the No.2 seed, they have shown considerable improvement since winning the INA GPG last September.
Tommy Sugiarto injected the pace and aggressiveness in 2nd game so he is in control and leading 13-9.
CWF's Vengence continues Kill List: Nguyen Tien Minh, "done" Tanongsak, "done" Tian Houwei, "done" next kill list: Kenichi Tago or Sony Dwi Kuncoro...!! Four matches in three days and after a previous week of competition, is it too hard for Tian Houwei to cope ? Then all the more CBA should let him play more tournaments, just 5/6 a year is simply too few.
If this goes to decider, I tend to predict Tommy will win. Tommy is INA best MS at stamina, while I think WZM is more a INA MS stylish player. Unlike other CHN MS, WZM is relatively lacking fitness. IMHO.
He is trying hard to carry the "Chong Wei" name on his burden . Now is starting to deserve it bit by bit.
