Also, N90-III has a little bit different frame shape than n55-iii, n90-ii or my at900p. It's a little bit wider and the shaft is a little bit linger (4-5mm or so) so the frame is just a little bit shorter. All this i think is a good thing, increasing the sweetspot. And due to the aerodynamic shape the frame feels by no means bulky.

My N90III with ZM65(25x27) and RKEP G11 white grip has wet weight of 98g, 303mm bp (dry weight of 89.5g, I forgot to measure the bp before stringing).
I agree that N90III swings faster than my 4u VTZF (wet weight of 93g, 305mm bp), which is good for defense and quite close to VTZF in term of smashing.
Overall, I'm still quite happy with my N90III.
If there's an N90III with 305mm bp, then it will be perfect! :D

since n90 is 3U, it should smash better than 4u zf...
if you want n90-iii with 305mm bp then it's n55-iii. or use at900p, mine has exactly 305mm bp. one of the best yonex rackets ever.

Ah seems like the consensus is that the N90iii is an upgraded VT80. It did feel quite light the first time I held it. I think I'll need to skip this and just order more N90 first gens! Nothing beats good old fashioned head heavy, heavy, and stiff! I thought that the ZF in 3U was just right and I didn't like the VT80 because it was too light and I needed to adjust my timing. Doesn't seem like I'll be able to just pick this one up and play.

I have put in around 10 hours of playtime in my new N90I, while it will take me more time to confirm, for now, I prefer the N90I to the III by a small margin! The N90I just feel more crisp to me, but then it may due to the slightly worn out BG66UM on my III. I will restring the III in the next 2 weeks and reassess.

One peculiar thing is that the N90I doesn't feel that head-heavy to me, and I have confirmed this with my friends. After reading so much from this website, I had the impression that the N90I was one of the most head-heavy racket in current production, but the sample I have is just about the same (or may even be slightly less so) as my III, and definitely head-lighter than my N90II and VTZF

I wonder if I have got a N90I at the lowest weight range, so much like a borderline 4U Yonex! Actually, if I didn't get mine from MBS, I would wonder whether I got a fake!

Interested to hear from others who have used both the N90I and III.

very odd you make it sound like n90-ii is much head-heavier, almost on par with vtzf... my n90-ii is definitely head-lighter than zf and just a little head-heavier than n90-iii. can't say about first gen though.

having played with n90-iii for a couple of sessions, having mixed feelings about it. the racket is great, no doubt. all shots are good, the lifts are precise, the clears are a joy to execute, the smash is good, the defense is good, the net play is good. but kinda liked my now broken n55-iii more. it was a bit head-heavier, not by much, but gave that a little bit more solid feel on the shots (but not being too demanding).

Yes, the N90II I have actually feels about as head-heavy as my VTZF SP, both slightly head-heavier than my N90III.

However, I also have a VTZF JP limited edition, which feels even head-heavier, dry to dry, just by swing the SP and JP, both with no strings!

After a few weeks it still feels "more natural" to wield an Yonex 8DX for me. Maybe it's due to the sword design. Gonna test a little bit with strings/tension.

Honestly I expected the N90III to be head heavier. Might try the NBG95 even though it's kinda numb and slippery.

Mybadmintonstore.com is a very reputable store. I've ordered many things from them in the past. Their service is great and yes, all of their merchandise is genuine.

You may get a delay in regards to shipping but that's more the postal service and not the shop itself.

Of course it's a different feel. It's a totally different racquet. I wouldn't say it isn't better or worse, someone else may like it better than the n90.

hi, just saw a new N90 in e1981, N90-3 LTD which made for LD i guess? :p
However, the price are....a little bit...expensive?
    USD 1199.95 ? :D:eek:
I wonder how much this racket performance.. I doubt it.
So, if anyone have this racket in their bags, feel free to reviewing it. :):p
    Here's the link.

Sometimes, Li-Ning puts their items are overpriced.... :(
I would go for Yonex I guess...

I tried Li ning n90 series 3 (non LTD ) , its selling at 320 SGD in singapore . If you looking to buy the collectors items , it cost you 1450 SGD ( comes with a suit case kinda stylish but i think no one will bring a suit case to a badminton court  . ) If you are a badminton racquet collector , i shall agree in buying it ,its kinda cool to have it though , too bad not a CEO not that rich =p ( its just my subjective advice ) .

The feel of the N90 3series is kinda good in terms of power as the owner let me tried out just outside the shop for some smashing. For more information , if u are living in SG , have a try at Bras basah complex Level 1 Li Ning Exclusive dealer . ;)

Things has changed since the first post in this thread.. usually I am a Yonex fan boy, but when I tried Victor's and Li-Ning's, things really changed. ;-)
