There must be something with number 17 with Liu/Huang. Perhaps because they are 17 years of age. They both leading 17-12 in 2nd set and lost the set 17-21 to Kevin/Masita.

The third game is more relatively competitive until the interval, but Liu/Huang speed up the gas to lead 17-11, but only made to be back even 17-all by Kevin/Masita and they finally lose to the Indonesians 19-21.

Point 17 basically cost Liu/Huang the tickets to the final of worlds. Oh well :rolleyes::D:D

He BJ nearly lost to Liang XiaoYu in Suhandinata Cup, I think that's why she was not sent in SF. He BJ later lost in 3rd place play off to Japan.

Good to see Kevin/Masita progressing to the Final despite a slow start in the first-set and always trailing in both the second and third-sets. Can they beat Huang/Chen for the second-time tomorrow?

    We shall see.

Ihsan lost to Heo Kwang Hee in 3-sets: 18-21, 21-13, 16-21.

He started slowly in the rubber-set, 0-5 and then 5-13. The gap proved to be too much for him to catch-up, despite closing up to 13-15 and then 15-17.

Hopefully they will make it, last two editions INA XD won gold medal in WJC :)

Yup, last year Akane failed to nail gold medal, lost to Nozomi, will she prevail this time?
All Japan finals in two consecutive WJC finals, they have some bright young talents now who may shaking CHN dominance in WS category.

The top-seed in GD lost in 3 tight-sets (20-22 in sets 1 and 3) to Chae/Kim. That sets up another CHN vs KOR Final in GD. Meanwhile, CHN seals 1 title in BD.

CHN and JPN have secured 1 title each through BD and GS respectively. Sad news for home fans as the host has no representative in finale tomorrow.

Double blow for Huang Dongping as she failed to reach the Final in both GD and XD.

BWF had a problem finding the host for 2014 as April was not attracted one...they asked INA to host but April was not a good month as it was election in INA..then I got Philliine to do it then again Mall of Asia can have 1 week as BWF needed 2 weeks as least...so BWF asked BAM to host.....there is a chance that INA may host the next edition...

Kevin/Arya should have won if Arya did not get service faults like 4 to 6 times against Huang/Zheng....they do need to correct their services..
