Surely no more surprises now, it's going Lee CW's way...

Too much ground to cover for JOJ this time.

He was a brave little soldier, but that's it for JOJ.

I don't know how these players think that they can take it in 3 with LCW; they have to do their best to finish it in 2 and I don't think JOJ played at his utmost in the second.

F**king disappointment seeing the XD match go the Danes' way.....the Koreans really deserved it. While I don't mind Fischer off court, on court he's pretty annoying (Come on. Get ready for ONE serve in under 20 seconds!), Pedersen I don't like on or off (Very arrogant in all interviews I saw of her.).

Good to see Ko back playing high quality XD though, let's hope the Korean coaches don't let him establish a successful pair again only to blow it up at the last second to give LYD (who, quite frankly, has been playing very mediocre in XD ever since LHJ's retirement) a chance to play with Ko's partner.
Hopefully next time he'll silence those screams of Mr. Double-Motion-Serve Fischer and wipe the smirk off Pedersen's face.

You've echoed my impression of them. I don't know anything about how they're like off court, but Pedersen looks nothing but uppity on court, and Fischer gets so worked up and caveman-like about everything that I just want to give him a smack. Gill is apparently enthralled by that aspect of him, but to me it's just intensely annoying.

I like his intensity as well, especially his obvious will to get every single shuttle back, as long as it doesn't go overboard and he starts shouting louder and louder and even on almost embarrassing points like complete mishits, opponents' mistakes on kills etc. Then he's just obnoxious.

I remember seeing an interview with them at last year's or 2011's DO - he was very calm and relaxed, and not at all like on court, while Pedersen had a pretty thick air of arrogance, acting like their winning the tournament was to be expected. Thinking of that, I guess it must've been the 2011 DO where they pretty much came out of the blue to win it, completeley contrary to expectations.

I guess in a training setting, I'd actually like a lot of the Danish players, but on court, far over half of them are obnoxious little s**ts.

The Chinese are at it again with regards to withdrawals/match-fixing:
    LXR (S1) to WSX (S7)
    WXL/YY (S1) to BYX/TJH (U)
and their players will be as fresh as apples in their next round encounter.
KKK/TBH (S4) gave another dismal performance against the new unseeded Korean pair of LYD/YYS and it's high time the BAM do something about the pairing and that is split them. Why bet on perennial losers?
The new Chinese pairings of FHF/HW and CY/CB finally met their match and lost in straight games to their Danish and Japanese opponents respectively. They will no doubt improve and be a force to reckon with.
All the Indian players bowed out in the QF and Saina Nehwal (S4) was upset by Sung Ji Hyun (S6).

Zero Indonesia in MS/WS/WD - RM has a lot of work to do!
Zero India everywhere - dissapointing if based on population of 1.4 billion!

    Just my guess....

CHN right now has 3 WS players in the top 10: Rank #1, Rank #5, and Rank#7.
If it continues, it means there is a chance that either Rank#5 or Rank#7 might meet Rank#1/2/3/4 in QuarterFinal, like what happens in Denmark Open when #7 meet #1. That's why, #1 give walkover to #7, hoping #7 can increase her rank closer to top 4. CHN needs to increase rank of these #5 and #7 to top 4 so they will not meet each other unless they go to semifinal.

Good to see RI progressing to next round. Eriko seemed to have given so much trouble to RI . Hope she progresses to final and wins the title.

    WTH !!!

Walkovers again...!!! This time, given by the No.1 seeds. BWF has become mute spectator ?? !!!!

Why in the world LXR gave in for WSX? WSX is just a so so player. I bet Sung Ji Hyun will beat her in straight set.

IIRC, last time you bet that Hendra/Ahsan would trounce the relatively new CBA MD pairing in a certain set of time. You lost that one. Luckily, no one remembered that bet of yours (save perhaps me :p ), or rather, they didn't take it seriously.

This time, should you lose your bet, what would you do? Hmm?

Congratulations BWF!!! Its their favourite ploy in cohort wth LYB to scientifically shorten and
save tournament time and be on schedule!
Looks like the way is opening up for RI to win her first Denmark open title.
