Lots of deceptive shots from Ouseph towards the front of the court near the net that Chen falls for time and time again.

I'm predicting a surprise win from Ouseph. Chen looks slow and sluggish and very unimpressive.

Well a lot of Yodas would be required you to educate you how to maintain the decorum of the forum. I always expect such comments from you so nothing new this time.

thats too bad for rajiv...i thought he deserved to win. CL is probably one of the friendliest chinese players on the circuit. good thing is rajiv showed that he has improved.

I consider it a lucky escape for Chen Long who seems unable to read Rajiv's game at all. Only when he launches his attacks that he scores more points. If he carries on in this manner, Lee CW will make mincemeat of him should he (CL) reaches the final.

Exactly, that's what caught Chen Long time and again, often wrong-footing him or forcing a weak return from him. Chen Long probably didn't watch how Tian Houwei dealt with Rajiv at the London GPG.

Some inserting matches already today. Did not see Ouseph/CL go to 3 games! And still so many could-be-good matches left! Looking forward to the Tago-Sony match especially.

Really convincing play from Xu Chen/Ma Jin. Some points late in the 3rd felt like the Korean players were trying to win the point by themselves, not thinking that they are 2 in XD, maybe it was just me.

Very, very entertaining match between Lee/shin and Ma/Xu!
Koreans had a chance to make it in 2, but on the other hand they were always 1 or 2 points behind in the second...
Sure we will see more from them. Shin only 18 years old. Important that Lee guides her. The only think Lee lacks is a hard smash like Xu, but well, every player has strengths and a few little weaknesses. They could become simular to Zhang/Zhao.

A close shave for Xu/Ma in G2 that nearly cost them the match vs the KOR Lee/Shin. G3 became almost a formality as Xu/Ma re-asserted themselves for a runaway victory. I think Lee/Shin is worth watching out for.

No wonder the arena erupts, the Danish XD, Anders/Julie, eliminated the JPN pair of Hashimoto/Maeda.

To me,even more surprising is Poon/Tse beating the formidable Wang/Yu 21-19 in the 1st game.

Saina one level faster in her game than kirsty. But she is promising and has to get used to this fast game of the top 10 (20)
