Chen Yuekun ousting Rumbaka wasn't totally unexpected. Chen YK performed well at the Chinese National Games, achieving bronze and along the way upsetting Chen Long in the QF. Whether it's sustainable or not, we shall soon see when he takes on another INA, Tommy Sugiarto, later today.

The problem with Rumbaka is he's still not aware how good and talented he is - its
strange for an Indonesian lacking self confidence like malaysian.
TS will beat Chen YK cos his level these days are higher.

That's a great surprise, actually. TTY should have watched how Busanan defeated Gu Juan in the Dutch open. I did and that is why i am very much surpised that TTY lost, Busanan didn't do anything extraodinary to win, good length and width on the clears, not many mistakes - that basically was it. No Ratchanok-like crazy-angled shots out of nowhere, precise smashes cross-court or super net play.
TTY has some very nice shots too but maybe in the match against Gu Juan it wasn't the best strategy for her, should have moved her around more from corner to corner, like Busanan did. Or maybe some injury for TTY ?

    Is who injured?

Ouseph takes the first set unbelievable. Ouseph needs to raise the pace now, unfortunately I don't think he can.

What a match. Chen Long takes it in the third. Well played Ouseph but by the end, even though he had no bruises it looked like he had went 12 rounds with Tyson.
