Well done, Chen Yuekun, knocking out another top INA player, affirming that he's an improved player with a sounder attack and follow-up than before as well as better net play which used to be his weakness. Also his reading of the opponent's game has shown significant improvement. Still too early to tell how far he can go though he's making good progress lately, esp at the Chinese National Games.
Yup, considering Ma Jin is defending champion partnered with Tang Jinhua but home pair Kruse/Roepke isn't bad, their should be Danish #2 WD after Juhl/Pedersen. We'll see this combo performance in next tourneys, it's not easy to change partnership.
if it involves an indonesian player at the indonesian open, sometimes u can't even hear the shuttles at play. it annoys me too. in comparison, this danish crowd is like a gust of wind while it's like thunder over in indonesia.
I am impressed by Tanongsak. He is really playing well since IBL. After beating Vittinghus and CWF, lets see how he fares against Tago/Kuncoro
His court coverage and anticipation has improved but still short of the killer smash. On top of that, CL is not playing well, many shots went into the net.
Chen Long is rallying too much and somewhat tentative in G1 though I must say Ouseph is a much improved player. Chen Long should just go with the flow and unleash his attacking game which is his forte. Rajiv may upset Chen Long the way the game is going.
rajiv ouseph is playing better than i've ever seen him play...CL is making quite a few mistakes but mostly forced errors instead on unforced
Rajiv's self-confidence is on a high, instead it's Chen Long who is too self-conscious. An upset in the making, I feel.
Chen Long tries to play safe and that makes it worse. I feel he should be attacking more to force Rajiv on the defensive but it may be too late.
What an exciting match between Chen and Ouseph! The latter has definitely improved, no doubt about it.

Chen Long isn´t consistent the last few months... Is he suffering some kind of injury or did Rajiv improve his game that match?! KO/SHIN´s defeat was very unnecessary. Ko and his shaky serve :/ Ofc, just one reason. Shin looked a bit if he wouldn´t care much about this match :/ At least LEE/YOO won. Seems like they always struggle partly against Europeans (both danish pairs played great with the support of the audience). Now we will have the first real test, probably against the never shining Koo/Tan xDD This match has to be on the TV-Court. Could finally became a long, thrillinging rallies-match. Gogogogo
