HI Everyone, I saw some folks in Australia showcasing the Customedge Type X at one of the state championships in NSW. Just wanted to see if anyone can translate the following? It felt quite nice during the show. Paint work, built quality and power! Hopefully it comes out soon!
Yes and there already was the Type S. They have a removable strip on top like the Adidas Switch but this one is smaller and weighs only 1gr. and changes balance point from ~295mm to ~300mm (for type X) There are also some NSFW pics on the AT700 forum
Gosen is a good racket. Previous I had one Gosen Root Aermet Platinium SE. Nice racket, feel lite in my hand and the power is surprising me a lot. But the problem is this racket is very fragile. One miss hit on the frame and After that i realizes they is a mark or paint chip at first. But finally it break in my fren hand. that was 2 years ago. And Now I'm using vtzf 4u. Happy but still admire my Gosen racket performs. Just to share my experiences with Gosen racket. Cheers
Found an interview with some GOSEN sposnored players about the racquet on Youtube and on the GOSEN Australia Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/gosen.australia http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fghq08HbKcM&feature=youtu.be
I believe the shaft of Type V and Type X are stiff...just balance and weight is different. Found some information at racquets.gosen.com.au
everyone following yonex paint scheme? victor tk9000 looks like a nanoray800, now this looks like a z speed? maybe i'm just going crazy with all the flashy colors that all the new rackets looks the same?
hmm.. i would think gosen has the best paint work amongst all the racquet brands though.. i wish yonex could up their level to gosen's
I think the GOSEN Customedge Type X racquet was released in Japan in July '13...whilst the Yonex Nanoray Z-Speed was in Sep '13. So I guess companies are imitating each other....specs are quite different though.
