Intanon is impressive, disposing of Sindhu just as convincingly as LXR did to Bae YJ. It will be an exciting WS clash tomorrow.

I think the umpire thought it was just after the first game interval. He basically zoned out. The first game just went past too fast.

Yay for the first Thai in a WC final!

LOL, the commentators just couldn't stop oohing and aahing over Intanon, but can you really blame them? I've honestly never heard such fulsome praise from Gillian for any other player. It's justified, though; Intanon's skills are simply sublime, and Sindhu was totally at a loss against her. I only worry about Intanon's physical fitness and slips into inconsistency; if she could get both those areas under control, she could take on LXR anytime.

Contrasting WYH's huffing and puffing against Sindhu and Intanon's utterly relaxed manner in finishing Sindhu off is really quite amusing. :p

Yeah at least he corrected it. That female umpire from New Zealand would have just demanded she was right and we would have lost half a game:D

Schenk was right to pick Intanon as the number one contender against the Chinese. Sindhu did the rest of the world a huge favour by removing Wang Yihan who otherwise would have posed a significant hurdle for Intanon today. Still a good job by Sindhu who will certainly be regarded as a serious threat to the CHN WS henceforth.

As it is, Intanon only has to deal with just one CHN WS player throughout the tournament, and that in the final. Best of luck to her and LXR too.

She did great to get this far. Mental stress can cure you to be tired physically. You can see she's not up to speed unlike yesterday's match.

She'll be back. A little more refinement on racquet skills is needed. Her footwork and overall movement is better than Saina's. Hope Sindhu can avoid injury because she's a great prospect for the next Olympics

Both of youngsters have displayed superb performance during this WC. Rat has better strategy to control Sindhu.

Well, congrats to P.V. Sindhu to win bronze medal in major event :)

Yup, really impressed with her talent, good luck tomorrow :)

IR serves high most of the times - this shows her extreme confidence in defense - and
this breaks PV Sindhu's confidence in her attacking play as all her smashes on the
    serve were returned with interest.
IR vs LXR will be exciting tomorrow and I think IR will win.

I'm not sure if anything has changed in China recently, but when I visited last year, I was able to go on facebook provided I went through it on my phone.
