Wang Zhengming almost created a sensational headline news of Lee CW being booted out in R1, that was really close. G2 was a non-event, WZM's fault, probably in part due to the drift and after a tremendous effort to take G1,he slackened ever so slightly and got knocked out cold before he knew it. In the decider he regrouped, composed himself and was able to more or less keep pace with a resurgent Lee CW but, alas, still failed to nail it when holding matchpoint, duly went on to lose the deuce and the match. It was, to me, a fast-and-furious match, practically no rallies, with Lee CW in better form than of late and WZM,well,he is certainly continuing to improve and will pose a threat to his opponent of today should they meet again next time. I've no doubt we'll see Lee CW in the final and should it be Chen Long waiting for him, I think the odds are slightly in the former's favour this time if only because it's their 3rd consecutive meeting with the latter having already won the previous two and on the presupposition that no-one,apart from Lin Dan of course, can beat Lee CW three times in a row.
Can't believe the score, is Showman Sasaki back in form or P Kashyap just having a bad day? If the former, then Showman is going to be the spoiler here.
For those who missed it,the replay of LCW-WZM is available here http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=hOHg8QMBV2s
Amazing, how long more can this veteran late bloomer, Hu Yun, continue to trouble and upset many of the world's top 20 or 30 players?
they are based on SS ranking point and how many tournament they played this year till today, not based on overall ranking...
By the way - Ivanov / Sozonov takes G1 21 - 17 against the danish star team Boe / Mogensen! 5 - 5 in G2.
CMIIW.. the seed is still based on WR ranking. Hoon/Tan already rank 7th since two months ago. but, they are not seeded in INA SSP because the notion points of both pairs - Cai Yun / Fu Haifeng and - Yoo/Shin are greater than Hoon/Tan. Both pairs played less than 8 times. so, their WR are multiplied. btw, one INA MD hope, Angga/Ryan just lost to TPE pair
What happen to Ryan/Angga? They look under pressure. Maybe it because of the high expectations hanging over them?
Thanks Mr Bulutangkis... maybe after all they are not that 'Seeded' lost in R1 Ryan/Angga hmmmm doesnt justify their WR
A viewer living in Indonesia can go directly to http://livestreaming.djarumbadminton.com/ if you are currently living outside Indonesia, rahuldarga shared some trick in previous day posts. Please read post #29 (page 2) in Qualification days
Watched them playing.. I do not see Angga/Ryan who played Sudirman Cup QF play. They felt under pressure playing at home after good run in Malaysia. Another retirement. Kim/Kim is injured??
